Your cart is empty. This is a CMOS 8-bit successive approximation A/D converter that uses a differential potentiometric ladder-similar to the 256R products. This converter is designed to allow operation with the NSC800 and INS8080A derivative control bus with TRI-STATE output latches directly driving the data bus. This A/D appears like memorylocations or I/O ports to the microprocessor and no interfacing logic is needed.

I bought this with the hope of tracking my electric power consumption and saving a few dollars. It paid for itself within the first *day*. Granted, that's because I found and traced an inefficient chest freezer that I was able to remove from service, so someone else's results may vary, but I've been able to reduce my electric consumption by about 20% simply by tracking down wasteful power consumers and either turning them off or replacing them with more efficient models.I like being able to measure and record power consumption over time, since that lets me plan for future improvements even though I may not want to (or be able to) replace something right now. It's taking some time, since I like to gather data for a long time to get better average consumption rates, but if I ever decide that I want to do it more quickly, I'll just buy more of these. It's proven to be worth every cent.

I loved having the buttons to push. One I could push to see how many watts was being used by each of my appliances and electronic devices. I also used it for 48 hours with a refrigerator, then I pushed the kWh button to see how many kWh it had used for those 48 hours, and I then divided by 2 to get the kWh per day. So using this, I could figure out how much this refrigerator was costing to run each month. Very nice and easy to use!

This meter/monitor is vital if you want to figure out what devices in your house are using more power and how much they are using. Works very well for off-the-grid living!

When it arrived, it wasn't operational. I had another one 3 days later no questions asked. Thank you very much.

Buying this one since my Son-in-Law ran off with my first one. Works great. It will suprise you on how much and how little power some thing use. When I build my Solar System for my RV, This thing was an Essential Tool for determing my Power needs, and how much of a solar system I needed. Great around the house also.

It was quite useful when it was working. It's easy to use and read, and it sums the readings so you can get cumulative measurements. Unfortunately it blew a fuse and completely died one day.

Recommend by Steve Maxwell, Bailey Road Newsletter, in Ontario. We have finished checking the phantom power in our home and next we will tackle the cottage. This has helped us cut down on wasting energy in our home. Took out bedroom TVs and are now using our tablets. TVs not in use regularly have been unplugged and main tv is on a smart bar/timer. Looks like we are on the way to saving 10-15% of our annual hydro bill. Great product. Instructions were clear. Should have bought this years ago.

My earlier version of this was the same but it is reporting a higher voltage (but seems to still accurately record the proper kwh based on independent measurement). In low light situations, it is hard to read the screen. If you use a flash light to illuminate it directly (led style), you see all the possible display values in the lcd display. Must use an indirect light source to read the value.

Application : mesurage de la consommation en kWh pour la recharge de ma voiture PHEV sur une prise domestique 15A / 110 V. Je ne suis pas satisfait car l'appareil a fonctionné seulement une nuit et est mort ensuite ... Déception assurée !

Plugged it in to test consumption on a 1500 Watt space heater. One of the two fuses blew out on the first try!Why they put a 0.2A in this device fuse is beyond me!
