easy to install behind grill of 95 Ford F-150 using an existing bolt from radiator support.wire is cheap 16 gauge maybe thinner but okay. It's too shortby at least 6 feet to reach component. I purchased an armored cable to punch thrufirewall and up from bottom of truck into engine compartment.PA sounds good. Make sure there's a metal structure behind it for best sound.Now for some drive fun....

My cb radio was not rated for something like this, however to my surprise it’s nice and loud! Base plate is nice. Seemingly good quantity.

This speaker don't work in CB's , I plugged it into 2 different radios and no sound comes out so I tried a 3 Rd radio and all it does is squeal when I key the mic. I tried every possible thing to get it to stop mic gain, Rf power, and it still squeals. So I have to rate this product at a 35 dollar piece of crap. Chinese made piece of crap I can deffinetly tell.

The sound is good coming from the PA output on my CB - . It can be heard over my 6 cylinder engine fairly well when speaking. I have a homebrew iPod connector soldered into my CB, but this speaker doesn't work too well with the iPod's weaker audio signal (even when passed through the CB to amplify it). Music sounds tinny and full of treble. For how cheap it is, it's a good investment. But if you're really wanting to give a solid shout-out, it might be better to get a larger, higher wattage powerhorn and hook it up with an in-line amplifier. This is a beginner's PA speaker.

Plug into the back of the cb and que it up. Works great. Needed slightly more wire length, however I found a good solution

Mounted under my hood in my truck and Is plenty loud but unclear at times. Plug and play, Can use to talk to pedestrians while driving but not people in other cars. Also cannot use microphone even slightly outside of window due to feedback. Does the job
