(Pack of 12) 25 Watt CTC Clear Candelabra Base (E12) Straight Torpedo Tip

120V Incandescent Chandelier Light Bulbs This Pack Of 12 Incandescent Decorative Chandelier light bulbs are 25 watts with a torpedo shaped straight tip and crystal clear finish. The average rated lifetime is 1500 hours.

They produce around 210 lumens, have a candelabra (E12) base (Which is 12mm in diameter) and will work with a dimmer. They are ideally used in Chandeliers, ceiling fixtures, portables, vanities, and sconces, as well as other household lighting fixtures or fans. The basic design of the incandescent lamp has not changed much since the late 1800s, when Thomas Alva Edison successfully produced the first operational electric light bulb. The filament inside an incandescent lamp must be protected so that oxygen does not reach it and cause it to evaporate on contact.

Most incandescent lamps are either vacuum-sealed or gas-filled. Incandescent lamp filaments are made of tungsten. Tungsten is a metal that can operate at very high temperatures without evaporating too quickly and resulting in early lamp failure. Incandescent filaments only convert about 10-Percent of the energy used into visible light, so it is necessary to use a material that can withstand extremely high temperatures. Most lamps use a coiled filament design, which has been found to be stronger and deliver better performance.

Bulbs were perfect and love the warm glow they put out. So happy to have incandescent bulbs and not LED.

These last for a good long while and have worked great in every fixture that we have used them with.

The bulbs are exactly what I needed for salt rock lamps, but two of them arrived broken. So expect some breakage.

I was extremely skeptical when I got these, solely because of packaging. They came in these thin cardboard boxes, (as thin as you get in a four pack of regular bulbs, that comes in another box so they're more secure) then inside of the really thin plastic packaging you typically see from China. I was worried they'd be broken. I've bought several of this type of bulbs; I have salt lamps in every room of my house. I've never checked all the bulbs before, but I did this time. They all worked, no damage, and they're very bright. So much so that I think I wouldn't want them in a clear glass fixture, unless it was way above your head.I purchased these to replace in a small Tiffany style lamp, because my sadly lamp bulbs weren't bright enough. Unfortunately, I didn't look at how big they are. I'm not sure they'd fit in a regular salt lamp, but they fit in my larger ones. The salt lamp pictured is over a foot tall, in a darker corner. Both shots are taken without a flash, and the salt is the darker pink shade. The smaller bulb in the second picture is the size I needed. All of that said, I'm going to keep them for my larger lamps. I can't speak of longevity yet, but at just over $1 a bulb, they're cheaper than smaller 15 Watts I've purchased. They should last a while, since most of my lamps are the regular size.
