These port tubes were perfect for a subwoofer enclosure that I made. If the project you are working on requires tubes with these specs then go for it.

Diameter of lower opening is 1.5â€. If trying to tune a custom porter box this is very important to consider. Plastic is a bit on the cheaper side. If going in to dense wood I would recommend cutting off the plastic slots and using silicone or some form of adhesive to keep the port in place.When trying to install one into 3/4†MDF lightly trying to tap down the port cracked the top portion. Basically turn that one into garbage. I ended up cutting the slots off, enlarging the hole slightly and using hot glue to secure it to the box.

This product was very brittle and badly made, i did like the look off it was made at a very bad quality. I tapped it to put in box and it broke . Hope they start making this better
