Vibrations were a concern for me with our floors, and they aren’t anymore! These kept my records from skipping even during my wild uncoordinated undulating movements approximating what some might call “dancing.†If it can handle a 230 lb man having a full bodied dry heave set to music right in front of it on a second story floor, it can handle most things. The only way I actually got it to skip was jumping. So, if you’re having drug fueled wrestling matches with Kenny G playing in the background, these might not be for you. But we use Spotify on wrestling night so that’s not a concern for us.

Used under my CD player which used to skip at higher volumes, not after installation of these vibration absorbing feet.

Most importantly, the Hemisphere Feet do reduce skipping significantly. The inverted cups fit (albeit just barely) over the existing feet of my c.1995 Technics SL-QD33 turntable, so I was able to retain the leveling function. On the downside, the cups are very soft and sticky, and the hard disc at the bottom does not seem well attached. Thanks to SeaMike for the heads-up about this. They do require careful handling during installation. Overall, however, they were worth the price.

For some reason the ball shaped foot is sticky on the round area too. Will get covered in dust eventually. Maybe mine was stored in a hot area before it arrived and caused this. It wouldn’t make sense for it to be intentionally made that way.

I know this is not what they are sold for, but I have a desktop PC that sits on the floor next to my feet, and the vibrations were travelling through the wood floor and driving me bonkers. (Plus making an annoying noise.) These big soft feet were a perfect fix. Very peaceful now.

I bought these to see if they would deal with a severe footfall issue with my turntable. Turns out they can't fix a wobbly floor, but that's fine. What was disappointing was that there was a moderately negative impact on audio quality when these were supporting my turntable. Sound that was previously very clear and rhythmic became much less so. Better than the cork isolation pads from the same supplier, but still a step backwards. I went back to my Vibrapod isolators and all was well.

I live in close quarters and footsteps in the house would bounce my needle, it was infuriating. Threw four of the 1†pads on and increased my arm weight just a little and problem is 98% fixed.
