I finally got a good opportunity to test these Roll Locks out.I'm getting new tires for my truck, and wanted to clean up the mating/contact surfaces on the back of the wheels, the rear drums, and also the corresponding contact areas on the front rotors where the wheels mate up to them.Since I am in a winter-weather state, there was a decent bit of corrosion in the form of some rust, as well as that white corrosion that I believe is caused from a galvanic reaction between the aluminum wheels and the steel rotors and drums. I used an 18-volt drill and was able to effectively clean up all the surfaces I've mentioned. I almost made it through the entire job with just one sanding disk, but I changed it out for a second one toward the end.I will say that I was not expecting the durability that I got out of them. I was pretty tough on the them, and was working the disks at a variety of angles and speeds, and was constantly bumping against the wheel studs. There was no fraying or deterioration of the disks around the outer edges, and frankly, that surprised me quite a bit. These are handy, effective, durable, and reasonably priced for 25 disks at around $25. I have no complaints at all, and I would recommend these.

After several years of using these roloc discs I finally ran out. While not the most expensive things you have to buy, it does get pricey after a while, especially when you need different sizes and different grits.Saw these and jumped on it to replenish my supply.Love these things and how well they work for anything, from finishing projects or getting metal prepped. The Roloc style of quick change is one of the quickest and easiest systems when you need to change a disc or go to a different grit. The lifespan on these is pretty much average, but at this price you are gonna save money, especially when you use them frequently. Work good and as expected.

Review: 25PCS Sanding Discs 2 Inch Roll Lock Quick Change Discs Conditioning Discs Fine Medium Coarse for Die Grinder Surface Strip Grind Polish Burr Finish Rust Paint Removal by T1AI ordered these sanding discs to help me remove some old varnish on a table that I'm re-finishing. Doing it by hand takes quite a while. These little discs do a better job, at a much quicker pace. I ordered the 2-inch Fine sanding disc. It doesn't dig in to the wood or scratch it, it simply begins to sand away the varnish. The sections I'm sanding are pretty small areas and these are the perfect size to use.So far, the couple discs I've used have not come apart or started to fray. They seem well manufactured. They are making my work just a little more enjoyable.

I have been using Roloc style abrasives for a few years now and just love the system. I use lots of 2" non-woven abrasive discs for removing paint and cleaning up metal for refinishing or repair. They work great especially in tight spots, but I find that they do tend to heat up and smear the paint I am trying to remove. Being that the 3" discs are bigger, they seem to dissipate the heat better and clean off the paint without heating it up. It also seems that since they run cooler, they don't wear as fast of plug up as easily. They are my new go to for stripping paint where I can't use my burnishing machine. They won;t replace the 2" discs but will take over much of their use. Definitely a great addition.

These are very good sanding discs for twist-lock tools such as die grinders. No problems or issues, these discs have sharp and durable grit with a strong backing pad. Took all the use and abuse that I could thow at it and I still have unused discs. Very happy with this order. Will be ordering again.

The disks are sturdy and work well, but wear out really fast. Also, keep in mind that despite pictures in the description they don't include housing for these discs and you have to order it separately.

I use 'em to clean various aircraft parts and have found them to work as well as the big brand ones. If anything I'd say the edge seems to hold up better. I'd definitely buy again and save some $$.

I am a woodworker and part of my job involves refinishing various types of furniture. These sanding discs are simply amazing given their versatility, utility and strength. I have already sanded a few tables and the disc is still going and hasn’t list its ability to remove the old polyurethane coating. I highly recommend it.
