Needed this to wire the Wii’s internal Bluetooth chip to be used on 5v usb. Pass through on the dolphin emulator works perfectly now.

I used this voltage regulator to drop the voltage from a USB charger to power the string lights. It successfully dropped the voltage from 5v to 3.3v. However, it was getting too hot within seconds. Hence the 4 stars. Adding a heatsink helped a little and kept the temperature steady at around 50 Celsius. A better/bigger heatsink would've probably kept it lower. The string lights were pulling 0.4 amp which may be a little too much for this IC. Anyway, I found a better solution for my project in a shape of DC/DC step down buc convertor which allowed me to set the lower voltage (i.e. 3v) for a slightly bigger price.
