These ferrules or sleeves work great. Use the proper tools to crimp. They must be installed correctly onto wire to avoid failure. Great price for what you get. I use these ferrules on 1/4 inch wire or 3/16 wire with plastic covering.

Was using for anchoring. They were 50% less beefy as Lowes ones, and you had zero play trying to thread wire rope through.
