I just started roller skating and bought this to keep my tailbone safe. I’ve tested it out at home by falling a few times, and the thick padding inside (20mm) really minimizes the impact. It’s definitely better than having no protection at all, especially for beginners—gotta keep the bum safe! The product is quite flexible, comfortable, and lightweight; it doesn’t weigh down or hinder movement. I plan to wear it over my leggings or bike shorts. If you think the padding looks weird, you can wear a skirt over it or tie something around your waist. It folds up a bit from the inner thigh area, but I don’t really mind that part. As long as it protects my butt, there’s no problem.By the way, I’m 35 years old, 5’2â€, weigh 121 lbs, and typically wear a size S or 4 in US bottoms. The large size fits me perfectly. I hope this helps. Happy rolling! ^^

I never really write reviews but this is a life saver! Taking ice skating lessons and this made me feel so safe. I fell a bunch and was so confident and protected. I can’t imagine having fallen without this.

I ordered the XXL. I normally wear size 14-16 in jeans. It was very roomy! I love how padded it was and still fit under my jeans!! I wear it while roller skating!

There is not enough padding and support roller skating and I still bruised especially on the side and tailbone area. But better than nothing I guess...

I know my measurements and ordered accordingly, but the waist was too small. I’m 5’7â€/143 Lbs and the XL wasn’t a good fit. I’m going to exchange them for XXL. But the fabric is nice, padding in all the right places and right thickness.

Fits well, sizing is forgiving, and doesn't interfere with skating too much. Ordered the large for my adult kid who skates competitively 5'5" 160lbs. The 3xl stretched to fit a friend that is 5'10" and 300lbs who doesn't figure skate and still covered them and protected from injury when they fell on the ice.

Restarting figure skating in my late 30s and injuries are easier to get and last longer. Hard to get to those pesky itches back there, but at least I can fall on my nicely padded butt!
