Doing paint by numbers is pretty straight forward, however there are many tips and tricks that will help you take your paint by numbers art to the next level.
GOING FROM TOP TO BOTTOM
It is best to go from the top of the canvas to the bottom to ensure that you are not going to smudge your painting, although some people suggest going number by number, starting from the biggest to smallest and waiting for each to dry before starting the next.
- If you happen to have the paint on your clothes, please wash it immediately.
- The figures on the canvas may not be covered entirely, hope you do not mind.
- The paint we offer is enough for the normal use, please do not waste it in case of the paint shortage.
HELPFUL TIPS
- If you careless to fill in a wrong color, you can wait the paint to get dry and then cover the wrong part with the correct color on the surface.
- For the large part, you can use the larger brush to paint, and for the small part, you can use the smaller brush to paint.
- Wash the brush cleanly every time after you finish painting, convenient for the use of next time.
- Use the paint directly and do not add any water.
- Match the number of the paint and the figure on the canvas to fill in the paint.
- Using more paint than you require can end up messing up your painting. Take small amounts and add as you go instead of taking a lot of paint together.
SOLUTIONS FOR PIGMENT DRYING
If the paint of your paint by numbers kit becomes thicker and dry, please don't worry, here are some useful ways to solve this problem.
- Add two or three drops of warm water to the dry paint and stir or leave it overnight.
- If it still doesn't work, you could also use paint thinner to solve this problem.
- Acrylic paints are easy to dry, so when the paint is not used, be sure to close the lid of the paint.
HOW TO REMOVE CREASES ON CANVAS?
If your paint by numbers canvas gets creased, don’t worry, this is a pretty normal thing given the material of the canvas. A sure way to get the creases out is to iron the canvas right side down. Make sure not to use too much water on the canvas as it may smudge the numbers printed on the canvas.
- Turn the canvas to the back.
- Lay a layer of cloth on the back of the canvas.
- Take the iron to the lowest temperature, gently ironing. The fabric is linen, and the folds are easy to disappear.
NOTE: You need to be sure to iron the back of the canvas.

I've done 7 paint by numbers, and this one by FAR is the best! The numbers can get a little tricky, so you have to pay attention. I do not recommend this for children. I'd say adults only, who have the patience. in the end, it came out perfect and looks just like the Starry Night pictured. I also went to wally world and purchased the spray on protector since I hung this in the bathroom. It made it look complete! I will purchase this brand again.

This was the first pbn I've done. It started rough, but as I progressed I got more confident and competent.The smears from the first few sessions were easily covered up in the later stages.If a person wants to get into acrylic painting, the is the way to start.I wish they would have sent the canvas rolled up in a cardboard tube, instead of folded, because the creases are hard to get rid of.I ran out of color 11 (light blue) so I had to water it down.The attached picture is only 50% complete.Main problem I had is that I ran out of about 6 different colors before I could finish.

I started painting in April then in September start again all my paint is dried. I made sure they were closed properly and all of them are dried up. I can’t find a number chart so I can buy replacement colors I don’t know what to do.

I was super happy with this canvas, I ordered one from a private company, it never arrived, but this one arrived in a week's time. It's thick canvas (I recommend steaming it before you start painting to get out the creases), comes with a detailed printout of which number goes where in case you make mistakes, a printed picture of the end result, three paint brushes, and all the paints you need. With this VanGogh painting I ran out of 11 and 12, but as you can see I still managed to cover the whole canvas, I just couldn't do a second coat. Everything else has a second coat, so plenty of paint!!! It was relaxing for me, listening to audio books and time to think while making something beautiful!! I am already searching out the next one!

Great entertainment that lasts a while. Very satisfying and you're left with a pretty painting. You can clearly see the numbers and painting the piece was quite easy. Would buy another one again.
