Easy activity to pack in your carry on bag. The colors are a bit hard to get out and sometimes can get a bit frustrating but overall I think it’s a book to have for an easy activity.

I got this watercolor paint book as a birthday present for a little boy who was turning 5 years old recently. This book is the perfect one for any young child who is not only into art (drawing, coloring and painting), but also very much into dinosaurs. Great combo!I remember having painting books like this when I was little and I remember how much fun they were! All you needed was a cup of water and a paint brush and it can't get any easier than that to paint the pictures on each page!Whether it's dinosaurs or any other topic, getting a watercolor painting book is a great way to let your own budding artist have fun creating lots of art!

This paint-by-water book is such a nostalgic find! It took me right back to my childhood, and now my little one gets to experience the same fun—except with the added bonus of being completely mess-free. Just a little water on the brush, and the colors magically appear, which keeps my toddler entertained without the usual paint spills or cleanup.The dinosaur theme is a huge hit with my kiddo, and it’s perfect for travel or quiet time at home. The pages dry quickly, so he can go back and re-paint his favorite ones if he wants. It’s also great for developing fine motor skills and creativity without the hassle of traditional paints. My almost 4 yo son really enjoyed this water book. Really kept him focused on coloring the numbers. It comes with 2 brushes and all you need is a little cup of water.

The dinosaur version has the wrong dinosaur names on them. There was 4 mistakes and it is misleading, luckily my toddler can’t read yet but he knows all the dinosaur names.

I recently ordered the Toyopeny Store's Paint with Water Dinosaur Book, and it has been a fantastic find! With 20 pages of dinosaur-themed illustrations, it includes 2 paint brushes and a convenient strip at the top of each page that contains 7 different colors of paint. It is perforated so you can separate the strip and easily discard it. All you need is a cup of water, and you’re set. While it claims to be mess-free it still easily gets on the table or other areas like any watercolor painting experience, but clean up is simple with paper towels or wipes and the color doesn't remain on surfaces. There's more than enough paint when using the numbers as intended.One of the things I love about this book is the quality of the paper. The thick, cardstock-like pages hold up well, even when little ones get enthusiastic with their water. Unlike other paint-with-water books, the pages don't tear or turn into a soggy mess if too much water is used, which is a huge plus for younger kids. The size of the areas to paint is perfect for little hands, too. The sections aren't too tiny, so kids don’t get frustrated trying to stay in the lines. However, if you’re working with children who aren't following the paint-by-number system (or if they decide their dinosaur needs to be one solid color!), you may run out of that particular color, but it's a minor trade-off for such a well-thought-out design.Overall, this is an engaging and low-mess activity that keeps kids entertained while allowing them to express their creativity. I highly recommend it for parents, teachers, or caregivers looking for a fun, easy art project! My students in small group (ages 4-5) loved painting their own dinosaurs after a lesson with a dinosaur story.
