Just ordered another set. I can’t believe some reviews say these brushes are floppy and fall apart. On the contrary, I’m amazed at how long they last, and how much cabinetry I can paint, and they still hold up. I am getting some of the best finishes of any option for cabinetry painting with these brushes and the newer water-based paints. Throughout my career I’ve used natural bristle brushes and oil-based paints to get the best finishes. these phone brushes with a high-end Sherwin-Williams paint have brought me into the future.

A package cost me less than I would have paid for solvent to clean my brushes. I used one for the sealer, another for the stain and three for the final coats of varnish. In each case I was pleased with the speed with which I could work, good accuracy and smooth level application. During use, I saw no indication of wear or softening of the foam. The only deficiency noted were a few small bubbles deposited during the varnish application. It was a joy to throw away the used foam brushes with no time needed for clean-up.

These are bargain priced foam brushes. I bought them for Athens senior center Where I lead activities. I was pleased that the foam head were all firmly attached to the wooden handles. None were loose, a problem Ive had even with more expensive foam brushes. They give good coverage with acrylic paints. They aren’t very durable though. After 4 of 5 uses a lot of the heads cracked and some started to crumble. They are very easy to clean as long as the paint doesn’t dry on them.

I purchased these brushes to put in the Laundry Room in an apartment building. They are perfect for cleaning out the Soap Dispensers in the washing machines (which are not removable). Excess soap and softener build up in the dispensers and clogs them. These are perfect for getting into all the corners of the dispensers and wiping away the soggy debris or soaking up the trapped water. They do not fall apart like other brushes I've tried. They are also perfect for painting on plastic leaving no streaks behind. Recommend them highly.

This is a good value. I do not reuse foam brushes, but am always in need for brushes for occasional use. For small jobs, this is something you should consider. The foam is firm and doesn't seem to soften when in use. I used a water-based sealant and foam didn't soak and stayed firm in order to reach places I needed to seal. The firmness of the foam should be more than sufficient for light to thick/viscous paint. The handle is sized well and makes it easy to use. There is a good plastic base under the foam, so I didn't experience a lot of "folding". The foam absorbed enough so you do not have to continually need "dip" for more paint or sealant. To be clear, nothing can replace a real brush for applying paints and sealants (IMO), so be mindful of this. That being said, if you have small jobs this product is a great choice. I would advise disposing after use, but the foam is firm enough for most water-based products in order to be washed and reused.Overall, I would recommend due to quality and value.

The price definitely reflects the quality (cheap). Which is fine, but they fall apart fast enough that I usually end up using 2-3 on each small project. Not sure if I’d order again once I run out.

These worked very well for applying varnish. I first did some rough surfaces, which eventually made the foam come loose from the plastic paddle, but the foam didn't disintegrate. Once I got to smooth wood, there was no issue at all. One lasted the entire time I was varnishing a coat. The foam brushes worked very well and held up nicely. I just threw each one away after a single use, as they aren't worth cleaning for re-use.

I keep these handy forecasting tight corners, or wet jobs. Sturdy.

My friend recommended these to me after she painted the whole of her Kitchen using just these foam brushes, so I tried them and they are brilliant.

I got these for some house painting I was doing. I'm rubbish at "cutting-in" where the paint has to neatly come up to the edge of another wall painted in a different colour. With a brush, I find that controlling the leading edge is difficult, so I thought I'd try these, because the edge is very straight and deforms less than a brush does. For my purposes, they were a mixed success. They did deliver a perfectly straight paint line so long as you pushed them towards the edge at 90 degrees. If you try to sweep along the edge, as with a brush, they distort just enough to leav an uneven line of paint. For their true purpose, however, that of artistic painting, they are much easier for young hands to use than a brush for getting straight lines. Over time, and if too much pressure is applied, the plastic support inside the foam brush starts to press against the inside and wear it into a crack or split that eventually widens to the point that the foam breaks. It takes 2 or 3 normal uses for this to start to happen.

This is the first time I've used anything like these brushes for one of my projects. I thought I would have a go at using one imstead of one of my usual paint brushes because I was hoping that a sponge brush would cover the area a lot faster - and I was not disappointed! In the space of about half an hour this is the third head I've painted with the brush I'm using in the photo. I got a box of twelve brushes and they will last and last, I'm sure of it! I also think that, although I got these as an Amazon Vine promotion, at £14.59 they are excellent value for money and do probably work out cheaper than traditional paintbrushes, while covering an area much faster. In my photo I have used a very flat matte black paint on a white glazed ceramic surface. The paint has gone on a little sheer, so more than one coat will be necessary, but at the speed they are covering the heads I'm painting, by the time the last one is covered the first will probably be dry and ready for its next coat. I don't know how well they work with other art mediums yet as I haven't tried them with anything other than acrylic paint yet. Also, they rinse out really well and quickly. Because there is a dozen in the box you don't have to hang about for the one you're using to dry off either. All in all I would recommend these to use in your projects when you need to cover areas relatively quickly. I don't think you can go far wrong - the handle feels nice in your hand and the brush itself is very light. Give them a try. I hope you like them as much as I do.

These are fantastic foam brushes for a perfect smooth finish. I’m using these to poly varnish furniture and it goes on perfectly with these brushes. The foam doesn’t disintegrate like the cheap ones do and as I use water based poly these clean up good as new
