In 2006, I work for a famous HK listed company.In an inventory ,Archives Department throw the old documents or the useless manuscripts to the bin directly , without any special handle .There may be a potential risk of leakage when these documents or manuscripts are recycled. So in order to solve such problems , we start our paper shredder business .

I bought this for my retail store. I love it. Like all shedders if you shred too much it will overheat and then will not work till it cools down. I have not had any paper jams. The shredder is small and fits in a small space. It shreds very well.

It's a very good shredder, however, the top portion you have to lift off the top of the shredder to dump is extremely heavy and hard to handle. If I had it to do over I would choose one with the drawer that pulls out for dumping.

UGH! I just wrote a good review and the next day it died (after 2 months of lite use). Before that my review said: .... Shreds paper pretty well (strips are a little longer/wider than I hoped for, but it's ok for home use). I didn't rate noise level because .... it's a paper shredder. They make noise. I also didn't rate the safety features because I use the most intelligent safety feature .... I unplug it if I have to lift the top for any reason. The handles on top of the unit make it easy to lift the top off and dump the pail, and I like the window that lets you see when the pail is getting full. BOTTOM LINE: FAILED AFTER 2 MONTHS OF LITE USEThen only drawback is the credit card shredder is useless - it cuts the card in half at an angle, with the numbers being easily read after it has been "shredded." This isn't a big draw back for me .... I don't often cut up credit cards, and when I need to I just use scissors and scatter the pieces into different trash receptacles.
