Received these an hour ago and they worked perfectly for the old GE which blew out. Was not sure the "no-name" brand would be identical, but they worked great in the range hood. Hope they last as long as the GE, but so far very satifying.

my home being architecturally designed, the type and style of lighting was an important decision. Thanks to our nanny state government the equivalent halogen bulb is no longer available and I've gone through my stockpile. I researched the replacement carefully, this bulb was the closest one I could find to match in terms of output, color and beam width. I ordered a pair to try and was surprised to see that you could barely tell the difference. At least now I feel better that as the old ones burn out I will have a decent replacement. Gov should not be telling us what we can buy, but thats a whole other story!

Needed a very specific bulb for our curio cabinet that finally went out after 37 years! No place in town had them, but good old Amazon surely did! They had to fit very specifically into the opening, which they did...and then they dim perfectly, starting very low and then our cabinet brightens two more times. Worth every penny when you see how long they last!

Of course, one came out of the box not working and the other burned out within a week of use. They fit perfect but the one that did work constantly flickered until it finally went out.
