Product Description

A workstand is perhaps the most essential tool for anyone working on a bicycle. Elevating the bike off the ground allows full use of the drivetrain, frees up the hands, and prevents neck and back strain from hunching or kneeling over a bike that is upside-down or precariously leaning against a wall.

The Park Tool PCS-9.3 is a basic bike workstand designed and built for the home mechanic: a stable way to hold nearly any bicycle for adjustments, cleaning and repair. The PCS-9.3 is the perfect stand to upgrade your home shop.

ANY BIKE

The PCS-9.3 is able to hold up to 80 pounds (36 kg), which allows for compatibility with virtually all two-wheeled pedal-driven bicycles (including fat bikes), as well as most e-bikes.

NOTE: The maximum weight holding capacity assumes the weight is centered over the legs.

The PCS-9.3 features 18 inches of height adjustment – from 39" to 57" (99cm–145cm) – putting all parts of the bike within reach for any mechanic whether seated or standing. With 360 degrees of clamp rotation, the PCS-9.3 can hold bicycles in a comfortable position for any procedure – even upside down.

Since those humble beginnings, we have expanded our product line to over 500 tools, stands, and other maintenance equipment. Our mission has stayed the same: to design and manufacture high-quality tools to empower mechanics and riders of all skill levels to service their bicycles. This thing is awesome! Yes, it's big and heavy. But you NEED that strength and weight. Very stable, very easy to use/adjust. Very smooth in use. There's a reason all the pro bike shops I've been in over the years have Parks stands. This one is the "home" mechanic model but everything I need for may family "fleet" of bikes! The extra $$ is SOOO well worth it for the quality. Definitely a good tool and good purchase.

I forked over the cash for this park tool stand. There were others on Amazon for a third of the price, but I have no regrets. The metal components, simplicity of use, and lack of unnecessary moving parts give me confidence this will last a very long time.

Don't waste your time with other bike stands. This is the one. Holds my 100lb ebike up, no problem for weeks at a time even. It's very sturdy. They stand it self is light weight and folds up nicely. Very well thought out product.

I have to make a confession; I am an irritating perfectionist. As a result, I took these pictures during unpacking with the idea that I would be able to re-pack the stand when I returned it. Well, to make a long story short, I was unable to find anything wrong with this product... and believe me, I looked. For example, the instructions were perfect. They were written in clear English and all of the hardware was included. The packaging was the best I've seen. There were no dents, scratches or bent parts. While assembling, I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of the hardware was of high quality and fit perfectly in accordance with the instructions. Another first; all of the drilled holes actually lined up perfectly! Finally, once assembled, I found that the stand was as solid as I wanted. It was easily adjustable and a downright pleasure to use. When not in use, it easily folded up for convenient storage. This unit totally exceeded my expectations and I would certainly recommend it to anyone in need of a repair stand. My only complaint is that I couldn't find any reason at all to return it!!! I guess I'll just have to happily keep it for a very long time.

My Feedback sports stand fell apart and was never all that great - the head wore out and due to its design , I needed to use a cross bar. The Park Tool stand is a lot simpler , the head clamp is simple and effective and holds ANY bike level - wish I bought this stand first - live and learn.

I was so excited to get my hands on this Park Tool stand, but when I opened the box, I noticed it was missing some key parts. No bolts for the clamp assembly! How is that even possible? I contacted customer service, and they outright refused to send replacement. They told me I'd have to return the entire product instead. For such a premium product, this is unacceptable. I expected way better support and quality control from a brand like Park Tool.

This stand is rock solid and so very well built. I have a full suspension mountain bike and wanted to make sure I got a stand that would accomodate the size of my bike. I looked at some of the other options on Amazon and thought maybe they would be great for a lightweight road bike, but could not convince myself they would be adequate for a larger bike. I am so glad I chose this one. It folds up nicely yet is so very sturdy with a large base to hold my long travel 29er. And wow, the clamp on this thing is also very sturdy and holds the bike extremely well. Worth every penny.

One screw missing. Seems like it would be good. Amazon return so no big deal. I’ll try again 4 stars cause it seems really good but without that screw it’s unusable.Update: received replacement and all parts here. Used it to fix a bike already. Easy assembling with precise instructions. Holds a bike very well so chain work and derailuer work is much more simple. You can turn the cranks without removing pedals. Seems to be able to hold bike in all sorts of positions. It’s great. Makes bike work so much more easy. It looks cool too. Folds down to pretty small. A bit pricey but so is going to a bike repair shop. Do your own repairs!

Now I see why many bike aficionados and home mechanics use this stand. It's solid, well-made, and compact when folded. Also, it was easy to assemble and appears well-protected against rust. As far as I can tell, it will serve me for many years and was well worth the expense. BTW, don't forget to tighten the bottom clamp after the legs are extended; I learned that the hard way.

This is a must if you repair your own bikes, it’s sturdy, very strong and I would not be without it. Make sure you put copper grease on all the threads and you’re good to go.
