My application is a 2002 Chevy Avalanche with the 2 speed automatic transfer case. My GM parts guy said the correct part is discontinued and this one is not the same. He was right, this part has a different shape on the outside in one area, but that does not matter at all and it still fits, the hole pattern is all correct. In the photo I am holding the old one on top the new one with the holes lined up, and you can see the little extra shape coming out on one side. If you were fussy you could trim that excess shape off with snips lol, but don't worry, it still fits just like it is out of the package.

This is the exact gasket I needed for my np246 transfer case for the shift motor. Hard to find part so it was nice finding it here with fast shipping. Actual gm genuine part as well.
