This lever will work on a 4L80e, but the problem is, the 4L80e gear select shaft is clocked 90 degrees off from the Th350 and I believe the 4L60 as well. I had to cut off the ears, and weld them on the open sides to make this bracket work, but it solved a major headache for me trying to make a universal shift linkage work properly on my 83' Buick LeSabre LS swap. I was able to make the factory column linkage work on my car with this bracket, and a little adaptation to the orientation. Also, I welded about 3" in length to the end of the column linkage rod to make it reach the new position. Anyway, I couldn't find anything online for how to do this, so I hope this helps someone doing a G body LS swap, or a B body swap like a caprice or delta or LeSabre with a 4L80

Installed this shifter on a 700r4 in a G10 van and it worked great.
