This worked for a 2013 Nissan Cube. Stepper code went away.

Pulled everything thing apart, changed it out, and put it all back together…. Now I have the same codes I had before, and a new one saying step motor function… so now I can’t return it and still can’t drive the car. Don’t waste your time, money and effort.

Review on 10/27:Item was supposed to arrive by 10/25, was delayed by a day.Item came in well packaged. I contacted the seller and was told this to be a new part. Item seemed to be not used and new. I have taken electrical resistance measurements - refer to picture 1.Continuity test: there was continuity between pins 1-2, 1-3, 2-3, 4-5, 4-6, 5-6. There was NO continuity between pins 1-4, 1-5, 1-6, 2-4, 2-5, 2-6, 3-4, 3-5, 3-6. This results were as expected and indicate 2 separate electrical circuitry: pins (1, 2, 3) and pins (4, 5, 6). Note: pins 2 and 5 are ground pins.Electrical Resistance test: I found the followings values: 1-2 = 15.2 Ohm; 2-3 = 20.7 Ohm; 1-3 = 33.9 Ohm; 4-5 = 15.2 Ohm; 5-6 = 15.2 Ohm; 4-6 = 30.4 Ohm. Looking at this numbers, my conclusion is circuitry containing pins (4, 5, 6) shows OK values. But resistance between pins 2-3 is higher than expected. I cannot conclude if this stepper motor would work on my '11 Nissan Rogue S or not. Will keep updating.

According to the computer, this is what was wrong with my CVT transmission. But after buying and changing it out, it didn't change nothing. And computer still says that's what's wrong. So I'm thinking that it doesn't work

A lot of people that has a car with a CVT transmission, don't know about this & could possibly save you thousands. Mechanics told me, I was gonna need a new CVT, until I did some research & learned about this stepper motor. A less than $50 part, can save you thousands, so make sure you do research & learn about your vehicle, cause you can't always trust the dealership or a mechanic.

This part worked exactly as it should, so far so good after about 500 km. It was in fact new! Unlike many of the others on here, it wasn't a refurb or reclaim. No wear, no oily residue, no installation marks. As others have said, can't get this part from Nissan as they claim you need to replace the transmission or at the very least purchase the valve body, on the rare occasion you can even find one of those. Transmission went from working very erratically, to working nice and smooth the way it should be. Others seem to have failed prematurely, so we'll see how it goes.
