This is a very good light if you want 6000k whiter light. It is not 3000k that mimics soft white incandescent like a lamp. It is oval but well made thicker sold plastic than the rectangular replacement RV exterior lights. It will not cover the same size area as a factory rectangular light but will modernize the look of your camper.I will say that if you are installing this and you didn’t take your entire tool set from home/garage, take a smaller sized Phillips head screwdriver as the plastic recessed hole is very small diameter and a standard Phillips head will not be able to be inserted. This can easily ruin your day/installation trip.I am also pleased with the on/off switch when the light can be shut off more conveniently. Also be aware that you will have to make new pilot holes if you are covering an area where a previous installed standard factory/stock exterior light was. Easy wiring that is red and black.Please understand that it may be that if you have an older camper, I believe the black “light wire†coming out of the back of the light will be connected to the white “camper wire†AND the red “light†wire will connect to the black camper wire. Black wire to black wire doesn’t operate in this scenario.

Has both clear and amber covers and, yes, they are a little loose fitting. However, this is an exterior light and as such, I made sure to seal all around the base and the cover, after installation. That solves the issue with the lens, keeps it waterproofed and since it is led, it is not serviceable anyhow. The size and holes matched the replaced fixture in my 12-year-old 5th wheel. The led's look sharp. Nice, cheap update.

Seems to be pretty bright easy install was the exact size to the original light above the door on my 5th wheel rv. And the original holes also lined up. And it came with 2 lens caps clear and amber.It took a few days to get it but was priced right for a new led light fixture..definitely recommend this light.
