It is a good display and decent for pastries and bread to store. However, it is not completely air sealed, so there will be some air flow, kind of a middle ground between being in open air and being in an air tight container. This has both pros and cons. The con is that bread, pastries and fruits will not last long in terms of freshness because they will dry out within 2 or more days. Therefore, I don't really store fresh food in there unless I plan on eating it within 1-2 days. It is a good thing that there is air flow in that smells are allowed to air out and also it doesn't keep in that enzyme gas that accelerate ripeness, so it will depend on what you are doing. Most times I just keep bagged snacks in there for organization and it is perfect for this. I have a bunch of protein bars stacked in there.

This doesn’t do a good job at keeping pastries fresh. The door has big gaps around the frame so things go stale the same as if they were left out on the counter. Needs a better seal. Other than that very easy to build and the shelves seem stable

It took only about 5 minutes or so to put together, it is pretty easy and intuitive. The plastic is nice and clear, which gives it a nice professional look. The door is easy to open and close and the magnetic lockage ensures that it does close all the way. The shelves hold up balanced and do not tilt and can be adjusted to give a few different spacing configurations. The plastic is sturdy, clear, and easy to clean. Keeps food stored well, but be aware this is not an air right container.
