Very rugged and compact. However there's no documentation, so you're on your own. I have no clue where the ground wire should connect to inside the enclosure if I was using shielded keystones, but I'm not, so I just removed it for this installation.Someone here also mentioned breaking several of the plastic tiedown cable clips. I didn't have that issue, but I think I was probably close to doing so by trying to pry them apart and pushing down on the larger tab on the curled end that lifts up. Again there's no documentation, but I realized I had to press on the smaller tab and it lifted without any additional effort. Also, if you're going to wall-mount this, I'd suggest drywall toggle bolts like I did so you possibly don't easily rip it from the wall with the plastic anchors that are included. Such as using it to terminate to a rackmount cabinet that can be moved around.I like this setup much better than just running all the cables through a hole in the wall to the cabinet as before. I was mainly concerned with signal losses, mostly with coaxial cables, but it was too much of a hassle getting into the cabinet and disconnecting everything to move it around. Now I can easily do so at the wall in seconds.

This 12-port patch panel is a fantastic option for anyone needing a compact, well-built solution for organizing network connections without a full rack. The all-metal enclosure provides durability and shielding, making it a solid choice for home labs or small office setups.Installation is straightforward, with built-in cable management clips that help keep everything tidy, though some of the plastic clips could be sturdier. The keystone ports fit standard jacks snugly, allowing for a mix of Cat6, Cat7, or even coax/audio connections. A removable lid and grounding plane add extra convenience. While no keystones are included, the panel works perfectly with various third-party options. It would have been nice to see rubber feet included for desktop placement, but that's a minor gripe. Overall, it's a well-made, versatile patch panel that mounts securely against walls, under desks, or in network enclosures. Highly recommended!

Great little box that serves as a patch panel where you don't/can't have a full rack system. The box itself is metal and seems very sturdy. For my case, I had a handful of ethernet cables that needed to be terminated under our house for outside cameras and such. I dropped the lines from above in the network closet down to this little spot in the picture, and terminated my cables with keystone jacks. They all fit in the slots perfectly. My only complaint is on the back of the box, there are tiny little clamps that crip the cables, and keep them aligned. These are made of thin plastic, and during installation, several popped off and a couple even broke. It doesn't prevent the terminations or any functionality, but it does mean the cables aren't as secure as the design on the box originally allows for.Overall, I'm more than pleased with this box. It works perfectly for my needs!

This is a nice, solid, metal box.The keystone cutouts are precise and it's easy to install and uninstall keystone jacks into this unit. The cable management is very nice as well, with small ratcheting mechanisms which keep the cables in place and feeding through the back panel nicely. The grounding plate is a nice touch as well, for all of your shielded jacks and cables.I plan to use this to connect remote control heads and microphones for some ham radios in my car.It comes with mounting screws, and wall anchors.

Great desktop patch panel! My network stack is small/compact and I don't have a rack for a traditional patch panel. This box not only fits the bill for a desktop placement, but offers shielding by virtue of the heavy duty steel casing! My Cat6 coupler keystones fit great and lock in with ease. Note: no keystones are included. The built-in cable management works well and adapts to many cable thicknesses. I wish it came with rubber feet, but that's just a small wish list item.Build quality is good, but not great. There was a small defect/marring in the coating, and the screws look cheap, but for the price is certainly acceptable. More importantly, it functions very well!

Works great on my desk! This is sturdy and the solid metal weight keeps it in place, even without the mounting hardware provided.I really like the cable management system - this adjustable ratchet lock beats zip ties any day.So great to have all the rear ports (USB, HDMI and ethernet) accessible on my desk!

I work in IT and have done several different configurations over the years and this seems to be the best setup without having to have a switch on or under the desk. This will allow me to have a fiber link and a few data links at my test bench without burning a switch with a single point of failure link.

What a great product! Very solid. Love the cable retention clips.I am using this in a Leviton structured media enclosure as I ran out of spots in my punch panel. Still have a couple more keystones to prep and add to fill it up (that is why the cover is not fully on in the photos I attached). If I add any more cables to my network I am probably going to have to go to a rack setup, but I hope I don't have to.Highly recommend.Using it with TrueCable CAT6A toolless keystones and have absolutely no issues snapping them in. There is a nice long space at the rear to keep the cables nice and straight and avoid strain. Not using it as a shielded unit.
