Works as described. Just measure your hole and make sure you buy it slightly smaller than your hole you intend to cover.

What a brilliant bit of kit! We needed something to cover holes left by LED lights as we had purchased a new light fitting. Perfect. They come in lots of different size variations and literally just pop into place. We haven't as yet tried to hide them, yes, they are visible, but i'm sure less so when we decide to paint over them, but still look neat and tidy and a way easier fix than trying to cut circles of plasterboard to fill in the holes left by the LED's. Our electrician was very impressed as he hadn't seen them before, in fact, he fitted them as he wanted to see how they looked. Brilliant for our requirements, super easy to fit.

These might have a niche use, but if you want to cover up an old downlighter hole (as we did in the bathroom), they are a quick fix that does not look too bad - if you have a white ceiling.The springs are super strong that hold the thing in, and when installed, you get a flat white finish - albeit ever so slightly raised.Be careful to order the correct size for your needs.

These are really good for doing a cover when you have needs to cut an inspection hole in plasterboard.You can fit these to make the hole good.They are held in place by spring clips, like on a downlight. So can be removed to gain access again if required. The material is very thin and the finish on the surface is perfect. The lip is fairly wide, so would cover a poorly cut hole.Not sure if paint would stick to the surface of the plate without it being primed first, if you wanted to match the colour of the wall or ceiling that the cover plate is being fitted in.
