This lamp is absolutely perfect for outside. It is heavy enough to be stable in the wind. It gives off a very good light with 100 W bulb and is water tight. The shade is a umbrella fabric that is washable. I live in Florida and I have it outside on my birdcage, I’m going to order another one and the entire area will be lit up. It’s just beautiful.

It’s heavy and def for outdoor use. The bulb is very protected should it tip over. The shade is removable so it can be washed. If it’s not sunbrella material, I would think you could treat it with a spray. The cord is long which is always nice.

I love the size of the lamp. It is the first outside lamp that has the height plus the large shade. I sat it on a higher table in our outside living space. It definitely makes a statement. It also runs on electricity and has a good long cord so it reaches around the chair and into the outside outlet. No more batteries.

Absolutely love this lamp. Easy to assemble & looks great on my patio table. I did need to iron the lamp shade but no big deal.
