If you are looking at a buddy, don't... Get this heater instead. I have both and this patio heater is amazing.I love the heat it produces.I wish it came with a wood stove fan though.I placed a small USB low speed fan on top of my heater to spread the heat through my 760sqft home.On a 30*F night, this kept my home a steady 73*F inside. The buddy I have can only heat one room. The buddy is more expensive too once you buy the line for a 20LBS tank. I'm on night 3 and the single 20Lbs tank is still going. I suspect it will last about 5-7 days. Now a few things I hate... If you guys would redesign the sides just a little bit, this heater could be hung on a wall like a heater of the same size.Design a bracket like a MrHeater has, would be perfect and really versatile then! When folded, it it's actually about the same thickness as a wall heater. The instructions quiet frankly... Suck, but it's easy enough to put together. One more thing I hate, it doesn't have a pilot setting.... It's either off or on, no pilot. HOWEVER you can burn one element, 2 or all 3, I just wish it had a pilot.I do know a Mr.Heater part that can fix that though, it would also allow the elements to be more adjustable.I know they call this a 3 stage heater but it's actually 6. You can run each element in half stages if you work at it. If it had 3 separate knobs you could crank all 3 half way which be more surface area of heating with less fuel to equal 1.5 element of fuel usage, think "Grill".

Heater works great! When putting together had to look closely to find all parts in Hidden area lol. Single section lights up with level of heat. Very nice.

We bought this heater back in October of 2023. Living in East Texas we don't have harsh winters but needed a reliable heater for our dog kennel. My husband loved this heater, it was easy to light and the propane tank was secured so our dogs didn't knock it over when they ran to their kennels. We had used it about a dozen or more times, whenever it started getting colder probably around the first of December. He never left it running only used it to get the kennels warm at night then kept a temperature controlled electric heater running all night. The first of January he lit it and walked the dogs around before putting them up for the night. He came in and the entire heater was on fire with flames shooting to the ceiling! We have a huge facility with 16 kennels on the inside and outside! He got the water hose but couldn't get the fire out so he ran up and turned the propane off and threw the entire thing out the nearest door because it was still on fire. This could've been so devastating on so many levels! Thank goodness he never left it on after it got warm inside, we could've lost our entire building but most importantly our beloved labradors who can't be replaced. Or it could've exploded when he ran up to turn off the propane and hurt or worse in the process. I'm sorry to just be posting this and pray no one has been hurt using this heater. If you own one, DON'T leave it running unattended!

So far I have NO complaints at all. It works flawlessly and heats up really fast. Yes, I'd recommend this to anyone and have already to a friend who is seeking the same thing for the same function I have it for. Well done.

At first there was a leak, but I used plumber's tape and that fixed my hose issue, so no biggie. However, I haven't had this even a year and have used it about 15 times, and now the ignitor doesn’t spark in order to light the pilot. This is a big deal. We had a power outage and I needed this to heat my house. My house uses electricity only. I used an electric lighter that didn't really fit between the grids, but that really isn't an ideal solution. It does heat well, though. I, too, used a USB fan on top to move the heat and a ceiling fan. It warmed much of my home as long as I cracked the windows a bit in the other rooms. Make sure to have sensors near by and lower than the ceiling.

Had the product a year and it has worked well; however, product is now failing after a year. Product seems to lack durability, would recommend you use a different brand.Update: Seller is offering to replace unit due to premature breakdown.
