I've had this type of filter a long time ago when I was a kid. I was trying to add extra filtration to my 10 gallon and then remembered this. They work pretty good. I like the way they look. Definitely add your own filtration media in the bottom. I used lava rock but it's excellent for the price. Some people complain that it comes with the pebbles for the filtration. It's nice of him to send anything with that filter for $7. You can't beat it. I recommend these for small tanks 😉ðŸ‘

This is the second time I’ve purchased this product. I use it for goldfish tank at the fire house. Dirty fish so I go through filters. This filter has been the best yet! Decided to get another to replace the current one due to algae building up in the filter. Cleaned many of times keeps coming back. Would have replaced pads can’t find them though. New one came in damaged though! Porcelain beads broken, gravel out of the bed and got between the plastic and caused a crack. Too busy to to ship it back for an exchange so time to buy another one!

This aquarium filter works perfectly! It’s quiet, efficient, and keeps the water crystal clear. Super easy to set up and maintain, and it doesn’t take up much space in the tank. Definitely makes a huge difference in keeping the tank healthy and my fish happy. Highly recommend for both beginners and experienced aquarium owners!

This filter was bought for our crab tank. It does the job. However, the replacable filter sponges are very low quality. They did not last long. It is easy to take apart to clean and replace the mediums. The size is perfect for the 10 gallon tank we have. It is hard to keep down in the tank. Even after filled with water there still seems to be some bouncy issues with it. Air seems to get trapped in it as well and it starts to sputter. The suction seems weak.

I’m running two of these filters with $10 USB pumps the size of Bic lighters to keep a 55 gallon tank clean. Life is simpler now. And quieter.

I week of using this "filter" and my tank is brown, my fish are dying. The air is not able to go through the filter, therefore no water is actually being filtered either. This is purely a bubble machine. Worthless for what I bought it for.

Works great, fits nicely in the corner of my aquarium. I have a 3 gallon and it moves the water around as it should. I'm just starting the aquarium so can't speak completely for it's filtering abilities yet, but I will be updating this review in a couple months when the aquarium is working better. Weighted so it stays at the bottom. Pretty much seems the same as your regular sponge filter, just quartered

It’s great for my corner-shaped 6 gallon. I took off one star because companies need to stop advertising everything “nano†sized as being appropriate or ideal for betta fish, because that is untrue. Small tanks are great for shrimp and snails.

Product works great, but it came in with a piece of the cap broken; it appears to be just cosmetic damage and seems to be working fine, but it is damages all the same.

Only thing I really have to complain about is that I wish is was heavier! It wants to float but I just surround it with rocks

The suction is so week , on advertisement says for 5 to 10 gallons tank but this size maybe works for 2 or 3 gallons not bigger than that.
