This comb is incredible. I have a large, long-haired, pure white cat who doesn't enjoy being groomed. He loves this and I got more hair off him in 5 minutes than I have in 5 years with other brushes/combs 😊 I can tell he feels better and I can't wait to see the results after a few more days. Seriously, this comb is amazing

I was impressed with the sturdiness and heft of this tool, which comes with a snap-off cover for the metal teeth. Its rounded design makes it easy to hold, with no sharp corners to poke your hand...or the pet.I tested the comb on two of my cats; one a Siamese with very short fur that lies close to his body; the other with very fine, downy fur about 3"-4" long. I combed the Siamese for some time, and got... nothing. Not a bit of fur came off him using this comb. The fluffy one was an entirely different story. I made one light pass halfway down her back and got a fluffball the size of a burst dandelion head in the comb.So your results will vary depending on your pet's coat.

First, this comb (I'm calling it a comb because it functions more like a comb than a brush) is just a BEAUTIFUL piece of equipment, and beautifully packaged besides, with a sturdy protective cover over the teeth. It's well-balanced and a gorgeous minimalist design. For that reason alone it'd be a great gift for a pet lover!Note that this one is rather small (about 2 ½ inches across) so not the greatest for a larger animal. Hopefully it comes in a larger size, because it's a great comb.As for function, I'm giving it five stars but with a couple of notes:1. I expected the rake-like design to be amazing at pulling those "kleenex clumps" from the shedding husky. Instead, it pulled right through the clumps-- freeing up a lot of fur but in a loose, flying cloud that also had to be "wiped" on a towel over my lap with every pass. I'd use a different tool for this application.2. Each hooked tooth has a blade on the inside of the curve. Don't worry-- it was impossible for me to even feel the sharp area with my finger because it's protected in there. But I'm not sure if this is a good thing (it would theoretically cut through tangles and mats) or if it might damage a long-haired pet's coat.Those two thoughts aside, though, this thing ROCKED pulling loose fur gently from both our cats. The cats didn't mind it (unusual for them), and the fur harvest was spectacular! This will significantly cut back on the amount of fur we're vacuuming off furniture! Yay!And it also functioned well on the Aussie-- this one doesn't have much of an undercoat. Lots of loose fur collected from him, too.Disclaimer: I did receive this as part of Amazon's Vine program, but always review as though I'd paid full price. For that, I'd consider this a good value; not the cheapest brush out there, but very functional--and did I mention its gorgeous design and packaging?

I have a long haired Cat that sheds like crazy almost all year round. She is a semi-outdoor cat and has a heated home in the garage with a magnetic door. She has an auto feeder (for hard food), and I feed her soft food daily too. She has an awesome life for a cat.My kids like the cat to come inside to visit, but the wife and son are both allergic to cats. We brush the cat regularly to remove loose hair, and in the summer, I pull the cat's hair gently to remove more hair. I get tons of hair, but there always seems to be more hair to shed. Like a never ending supply of loose hair.I was sceptical of this PawRake device. I didn't know if it was a odd looking comb or what, but I took a chance on it and boy am I glad I did. I just tried it on the cat and I got tons of hair in just a few minutes of combing. The cat didn't hate it either and let me brush her (mind you she loves being brushed). I got more hair in a few strokes than I would get from brushing for 10-20 times as long. It also took out more hair that I normally get by pulling her hair in the summer. Amazing results, I can't believe how much hair this seemingly little comb looking thing gets out.

Ich habe schon viele verschiedene Produkte dieser Art ausprobiert, aber dieser Striegel ist mit Abstand der beste, den ich jemals verwendet habe.Der Striegel ist robust aus hochwertigen Materialien - solidem Kunststoff und Edelstahl - gefertigt, die eine lange Lebensdauer erwarten lassen. Die ergonomische Form liegt super in der Hand und sorgt für eine komfortable Anwendung. Selbst längeres Striegeln lässt keine Ermüdungserscheinungen in der Hand aufkommen.Die vorderen 15 Zinken sind aufgrund der nach innen reichenden, gerundeten Krümmung an der Unterseite optimal gearbeitet. Die eigentlichen Schneidklingen befinden sich erst dahinter und sind hierdurch einerseits höchst effektiv in der Schneidleistung und andererseits absolut verletzungssicher für die Hautbereiche der Katze - gut ersichtlich auf dem vergrößerten Foto anbei!Der Striegel entfernt lose Haare und Unterwolle spielend leicht sowohl bei Langhaarkatzen als auch bei Tieren mit mittellangem und kürzerem Fell. Selbstverständlich ist dabei bezüglich der Stärke des Bürstens eine individuell angepasste Vorgehensweise erforderlich, um ein Reißen oder Zerren zu vermeiden. Gerade bei stärkeren Verfilzungen oder vorhandenen Knoten im Fell ist zunächst ein sanfteres Vorgehen angebracht. Bei regelmäßiger Anwendung wird das Fell dauerhaft bestmöglich gepflegt.Die zwischen den Zinken gesammelten Haare lassen sich ruckzuck und problemlos entfernen, so dass eine aufwändige Reinigung nicht erforderlich ist.Sehr gut gefällt mir auch die mit 2 Klicks aufsetzbare Verschlusskappe, die den gesamten Klingenbereich bei Nichtgebrauch bestens schützt.Zusammengefasst kann ich diesen Katzenfell-Striegel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Seine Genialität rechtfertigt definitiv den aktuellen Preis von knapp 20 Euro. Er ist tadellos verarbeitet, höchst effektiv und dabei verletzungssicher in der Anwendung. Von mir gibt es folgerichtig 5 verdiente Sterne und eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
