Never thought I would be buying ice shovels living in San Diego, but here we are! The standing freezer we have in the garage started building up a thick layer of ice / frost and I didn't want to have to relocate all the items inside and then defrost it the slow way. These scrapers were perfect. The different sizes were helpful - all three shovel well - and the big blue one is a great tool for scooping the ice while you're scraping. Very happy & we're back to a frost-free freezer for the moment!

The ice buildup in my chest freezer has been especially bad this summer, to the point that I had to set heavy pots on top to keep the lid completely closed. The scrapers and shovel were a great help in helping to remove the massive chunks of ice without damaging the inside of the freezer (full disclosure: to help things along I emptied the freezer, turned it off for about 90 minutes, and left the lid up). Only 4 stars because a larger size scraper would have been even more helpful. Now, I can close the freezer lid properly and put those pots back in the cabinet where they belong.

We have a small chest freezer and so far this has been good tools to have. Thick enough to chip off the ice build up.

Very sturdy. I mostly use the large blue “spatula shovelâ€, as I call it, to remove the excess ice forming in the display freezers. The previous one I was given was smaller and not as robust (it cracked). I love that i can pick up a larger amount of ice when doing the routine cleanup. The medium spatula is used for corners and delicate arras where more control is needed (by the lighting area). Will recommend for anyone that has freezers in humid locations where ice buildup is a constant issue.
