Bought this card to install temporarily in several old servers so that I could copy their hard drive arrays quickly to a SanDisk Extreme 2TB external NVMe SSD at 10Gbps.Installed with no need to use driver disk. Glad it came with low profile adapter. On a new R650 server, was able to copy from the external nvme to the U.2 NVMe RAID 5 (3x1TB) at ~380MBps on the built in USB 3.1 (5Gbps) USB Type A connection. Using this card, on the USB 3.2 (10Gbps, presumably), I was able to pull data off at a sustained ~680MBps to the array. Given the extreme amount of data planned for this server, this will be very handy for large data transfers. This card is worth it.

I purchased to give my ASRock X570 Steel Legend a way to connect to my "be Quiet!" Dark Base Pro 901 Case front panel. The card is installed in a PCIe 4.0 16x slot (the only one I still had unoccupied/blocked).I tested it transferring from a 2TB Samsung T7 Shield external SSD (1050 MB/s max read) to a NVMe Samsung 980 Pro 2TB (5100 MB/s max write). The card is rated for 700-800MB/s in the description. I got a consistent 715MB/s, which falls within the manufacturer's advertised range, and shows how it performs if the drives aren't the bottleneck. I achieved this speed on the front panel port, and I also got this speed on the right-most port on the back of the card itself.I'm grateful that the Type E port faces towards the front of the case.My only wish is that a card manufacturer would make a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20Gbps) with the Type E port pointed towards the front of the case, like this one. I looked all over for a card with the 20Gbps speed, but they all face the port downwards, towards the next PCI device. And, the 90 degree adapters that exist are so tall they still run into the device in the next slot (I frustratingly tried). Alas, I gave up and went with this, but it's good enough and much better than my USB type A ports. Transferring 165GB in under 4 minutes in pretty wild.

Installed this in a Hyte 60 tower where I needed a low-profile card. Worked without any issues, but the one thing I wish it had was internal power so that USB-C items would fast charge while plugged in.Very happy with it.

My video card was too long so I couldn't plug the front panel USB C connector into the motherboard so I simply installed the card into the bottom slot of my motherboard and routed the front panel connector to the card with the bonus of having three more USBC connections on the back. I simply plugged the card in and I didn't have to install any drivers with my windows 11 system. The card is nice quality and very easy to install. I did it in under 4 minutes. I recommend this product.

I was reasonably happy when it worked, but it unfortunately stopped working in under a year of use. I would probably just forgo USB C working on my front panel if I could do it over.

I had to glue down the Type-E connector on mine as the solder anchors were very weak. The port would probably fall off otherwise, it was very flimsy. It doesn't fit well either, the bracket doesn't sit flush with my case. Haven't had that issue before with other add in cards. It also isn't as fast as the advertised speeds are. I'm using an x4 PCIe slot as required but it's still 5gbps speeds. Fast enough for me but not what was advertised

This is a great addition to my PC and it worked as soon as I installed and powered on the PC. I did not install the drivers that came with the unit as Windows identified the card and installed the necessary drivers. The two internal USB ports are a nice useful feature.

Been building PCs for 29 years. Based on my experience and the polarized reviews for this Sinefine adapter, I recommend you look at another brand.I bought this because 1> my mobo doesn't have the Type E header for my case's USB-C port, and 2> my Oculus Quest 2 USB-C cable was too thick to fully seat in my mobo's USB-C port (sigh), and 3> because I wanted a black adapter. I regret it.First thing I found with this adapter... If I fully inserted the card into a PCIe slot, it was roughly 7-10mm too far from the case to secure it with a screw. I verified this in multiple slots. Aligning the screw hole meant the card pulled out from the PCIe slot and wasn't detected by the mobo. I had to bend the top and bottom of the adapter bracket to get it both secured and fully inserted into the PCIe slot - leaving a gap between the case and adapter in the bracket's middle area. Thank goodness I don't have to look at it.Also, inserting the case Type-E A-key cable into he adapter required a disturbing amount of force. I thought I was going to break the adapter, and it still didn't fully seat until the second try.Like others have said, it does NOT charge a Quest 2 headset while playing.***FINAL WORD***+ Rapid charges my Pixel 6+ Fat USB-C cables fit perfectly thanks to widely spaced ports+ Works out of the box w/o drivers (Win 10/11)- Doesn't charge Quest 2 while playing (but does in standby)- Required alarming force to insert A-key cable into internal type-E port- Required bending to fit case - first time fore everything***SUMMARY***Works well enough to keep, but I won't buy again and I don't recommend you buy it either.

It does as it says on the box. If using Windows 10 or 11 no need to download drivers. Windows automatically does it. No extra power required. Put mine pci 4 slot.

The cd provided probably have the driver for the part but in today modern pc there are no cd drives. I would appreciate it if i can get the files uploaded and linked because its not up to the promised spec, it operate at gen 2.0 speed and it doesn't have that much power to charge my phone at the expected speed. Im trying to figure it out. But so far nothing worked for me.

I got this card to add support for a USB-C port on my PC case through the internal expansion port. It works well and you also get extra ports on the back.My PC failed to identify the device, but after I updated my chipset drivers, it showed up right away.

Necesitaba agregar puertos USB c extra a mi PC, está es una buena opción, además de que cabe detrás de la tarjeta grafica si la tienes en vertical.
