So far, the newly installed product has had no problems and can function well.A quite significant change is in external USB SSD devices where the initial speed of 42 Mb/s becomes around 546 Mb/s

On Windows 11 Desktop, it worked fine even if I didn't install the driver. Everything is satisfactory, but there is one disappointing thing. It does not recognize USB speakers or amplifiers.

Here's the thing, everything was great for a little more than a year. However, this past month, things started to get a little dicey. USB ports would lose power for no reason at all and the computer, with the PSU is stable. I plugged in my USB load tester (not just voltage test unloaded).I found out the ports couldn't deliver USB 3.x power requirements and could barely handle 5 volts at 500 mA maximum (2.5WDC). If I plugged in every other port it could handle the USB 2.0 power requirements. It used to be able to handle USB 3.x power on all powers.Today, as of 3:20 PM CST, the card is now finally dead. I know what the problem is, after looking at the PCB and tested the components via a PCIe riser and an oscilloscope. Several of the passive components specs are too small, they need bigger beefier components. While I could fix this, the manufacture has to know that they effed up.Now, USB 3.x is up to 20 Volts and 5 Amps, that's 100W per port. Now, this is not possible because PCIe slot maximum wattage is 75W and you'd need addition PCIe 8-pin connectors to deliver all the power you'd need. PCIe 6 and 8 pin power is at 12VDC, so the card would need to use a step up transformer to change the power from 12 to 20 VDC and be able to deliver that much juice. So, if you think about it.2 type A4 type CWhich is 6 ports total, max of 20V at 5A aka 100W a port, that 600 Watts total power capability. I have yet to see any USB card or embedded solutions actually have that capability. The way this card is set up by data is to be signal wise compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1 but not power wise.If you want a sturdy card, pick another card manufacturer.

My Quest2 has a weird issue with USB ports, it seems to burn them out. None of the ports on my mobo will recognize the HMD anymore or charge it. Most other usb2.0 level devices still work fine, but I needed something to use for VR and took the opportunity to upgrade to 3.2.After a couple months I’ve noticed that the HMD isn’t charging like it used to on any of the ports but since each port has its own dc regulation circuitry I’m guessing it’s probably a cable issue… the HMD seems to eat thru cables too, but given how much they get twisted up during gameplay that’s not all that shocking.Anyway, great looking card that has performed well! External NVMe drives are noticeably faster than stock usb3.0, and I’ve been able to crank VR SS to 1.5 to match the native quest resolution and I couldn’t do that before. Solid buy.

Easy to install. Just pop off the side cover and then remove the cover plate for the PCI slot in use. Slide it in, then replace screws and fire it up.Haven't checked data transfer rates, but USB-C hub is functional with remote drives and additional HDMI operating simultaneously.Happy with purchase.

I had a problem with this item but customer service was helpful, they wanted to try first to send a replacement, but that also did not work, so then the sent a refund. so I can say this company offers good service and for that I offer that 5 stars. For some reason the first time I tried to leave a review it did not work, so a few weeks later I realize and I am doing again.

The card worked for connecting an Oculus Quest 2 via USBC to a Gigabyte motherboard. The motherboard has built-in headers for front panel USBC, but the case I installed it in didn’t. This card was a less expensive solution than buying a new case to use the on-board USBC. It was easy to install and Windows 10 loaded the correct drivers automatically. The only potential negative is that the card doesn’t have a power connector and charging over the USBC port is very slow. Other cards I looked at did have power connectors, which might improve charging performance. But it worked for what I needed it for and was simple to install, so I’m happy with the purchase.

Worked good for a while as some has already stated. One went dead within a couple of months, the second one is now dead after a year and half.

I initially bought https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08GC6VFF2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but I thought maybe I should go all the way up and thus I bought this one to have working usb 3.2 gen 2.However, after plugging this card into pcie 16x port, this card is not seen after boot up to windows 10. Since this port runs at 8x speed, I switched this card to another 16x port running at 16x speed, and this time, my computer doesn't even boot to windows anymore. Not sure what happens, but since it doesn't work, gotta return it.

It did not work with either one of my two computers. I get post error 99 at boot. Shame, because it sounded like a good product. Most likely it should have had extra power plug like some other products have. I decided not to return it because it would have cost me for a shipment to US.
