My son wanted a locking notebook that was not pink. He was disappointed that the keypad was not real. He says he prefers two locking mechanisms. It otherwise looks super crucial enough that he is satisfied overall.

Nice product for a young child who wants to pretend they are keeping a secret journal. The lock makes my child feel their stories are safe from anyone reading them. The pages are bound to the book cover very well. The lock mechanism can be easily destroyed from excessive use and the lock can be opened easily without the key. Overall it was well worth the cost and my child loves it.

This is really small, and not impressive looking. The covers are flimsey. I didn't expect anything from the lock, because it is an inexpensive child's diary, but I did think it would be more than 1/2 inch thick, and that it would have a sturdy cover. The "girly" ones I got, sold on Amazon by a company called "Getting Fit" for about the same price, are much nicer.

I bought this dairy for my son(8). He is writing in it ever since I bought it. The pages are of very good quality and the size is A5, which i think is the best size for my son. I will recommend to my friends.
