I got this for my ferrets and they love this. It’s been several months and still no holes it is thick and durable. Still easy to bend a little heavy compared to a dryer hose but the same size. My ferrets plays with this every day and loves to hide in it.

I got this as tunneling for my gerbils to go from their cage to their playpen. They love running in this and the thumbscrew clamps work perfectly attaching the tubing to the blast gate on their cage. I cut it to the length I needed and then used the other part inside the playpen.

As a former HVAC business owner, we ran a fleet of vacuum duct cleaning trucks with 6 and 8 inch hoses. We also ran an insulation (attic and walls) that used flexible hose. And of course some HVAC systems use flexible duct. I am heavily experienced in flex hose. The big problem was finding a clog somewhere in the hose. When I saw this clear hose for my portable woodshop dust collector, I knew it was a winner. The quality and weight is as good as it needs to be in this kind of service. My commercial hoses were rubberized black material with like a tire tread reinforcement that spiraled with the wire support. These hose got dragged around a lot and this protection prevented wear through. Not required here and this hose is not nearly as expensive as the HD kind. In home use this is a very good choice.

This was the second time I purchased this hose. Nothing wrong with the first purchase; I just needed more. The hose has good flexibility and is tough. I use it for dust collection on my 4' x 4' CNC Router. I should note that flexibility comes with a small price. My 2 hp dust collector causes the hose to shorten a little when it's turned on. Not a big deal, but you may want to allow for it. I suggest you hook it to the dust collector and leave the other end unconnected. Turn on the dust collector and see how much the hose shortens. If it's hooked to a fixed tool, like a cabinet saw, it probably doesn't matter much. However, with a moving gantry on a CNC, it does.

Great for science gravity exploration using water or rolling balls etc in the classroom. Can be zip tied to fences or attached to peg wall. Open ended fun and learning, sturdy and soft texture. Loved it so much I purchased 2. Kids love using it as a telephone tube.

The downside of a very flexible hose is that it is not smooth inside, so airflow is affected. It is nice and thick and I don’t have any concerns about durability. I wish it was cheaper.

I know using this product for my hedgehog to run around in play in is not its intended use; however, it is absolutely perfect! Not only is it durable, easy to clean, and quite maneuverable, but it also is long enough to provide her endless hours of entertainment. Thank you!
