This did not fit my Oreck XL vacuum. The hose is well made but not much use if it does not fit. So far, my vacuum tools have been interchangeable between the Oreck XL, my upright, and the shop vacuum. I thought the size of these hoses was more or less standard. Apparently not. The ends of this hose did not fit into the vacuum cleaner or onto most of the vacuum tools. I was able to remove the end pieces from my old broken hose and fit them onto the new hose. The new hose is heavy for its size which is two feet but stretches to four feet. I would prefer a longer and lighter hose. I gave it three stars because it is heavy, short, and did not fit my vacuum. The quality however seems good, and it probably works fine on a Dewalt vacuum.
