Your cart is empty.The Raven Primero cajon is constructed using MDF and features a meranti faceplate. Meranti is a wood known for its relative hardness and straight grain making it ideal for cajons. A built in bass port magnifies the massive low-end tone of the cajon while two sets of fixed snare wires provide a bright, crisp snare response. This cajon features a hand painted and silkscreened finish that wraps around the sides and top of the cajon featuring a stylized black raven. Primero cajons have a thunderous deep sound you have to hear.

My husband it using it instead of hauling his entire kit to play at small venues. It works great. I like that it's sound is just right and not as loud as a full drum set. Convenient.

I play the cajon with two different bands. Being able to run a cable from the jack in the back to a bass amp means no need for mics on the floor, picking up extraneous noises. I'm surprised not all cajons are made this way.

The tone of this Cajon is nice. Snappy snare sound and surprisingly deep low end bass (has a plastic bass port insert which is nice). Sturdy and well made - yet a little rough cut around the edges/seams. I like how it has a replaceable front (top).

First time owning one. I’m learning on my own. I bought it because my friends in the house play guitars. I thought I could join in on the fun to add a beat to the guitars. Pretty cool.

I love this instrument. I play it to music from the 70s. I’m kind of new to playing the Cajon, but for some reason, it just kind of resonates with me pun intended. If you really want an instrument that has good bass this is the one. The snare part is actually good too.
