So, I have a 2020 Macan GTS that is hands down my most favorite and fun vehicle I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had a lot over the years. But, the one thing about my Macan that I didn’t like was the very noticeable lag when first pressing the peddle to where it goes. It’s not insignificant and has caused me to clench my bottom a few times when I wasn’t sure it was going to get up and go when crossing a busy street. It REALLY bothered me to the point I’d become super frustrated with a car that otherwise is absolute perfection.This fixed it!!! Zero initial lag! Zip. Zero. Zilch. Just, press and instant Vroom! I wish I would have bought this as soon as I got my macan as so many others have suggested. If you have a Macan, this isn’t a nice to have, this is a requirement. Trust me.Installation was less than 5 minutes. Scoot drivers seat back as far as it will go. One T30 screw to upper left hand side of pedal assembly. Zip it out and pull pedal off. Connect wires and, here is the main tip that makes this painless, when putting pedal back on, put a little lower and make sure plastic mating tab goes into pedal assembly is you pull up and rotate toward firewall. Assembly will hold itself I place as you screw in T30 screw. Then just tuck wires under dash panel trim and, optionally, secure with included Velcro. Done. Easy. Painless. MASSIVE improvement.

Wow! This thing works. A cheaper upgrade on your Porsche Macan compared to chip tuning etc. a ten minute install and you are ready to go. Gives you several driving modes that you would otherwise have to get by upgrading to trims like Turbo or GTS. Be sure to keep your key FOB at least 35 feet away before you start the install / unplug the accelerator pedal. This is critical to avoid the CEL on your car. Ensure all systems have powered down, for that reason it’s savvy to wait at least ten minutes after switching off the car. I would say this a great upgrade for your otherwise lackluster throttle response in normal driving mode on your Macan. PC changes the game. Drive safe.

Was unsure that this mod would be worth the upgrade on a turbo. Not a lot of reviews with Macan turbos. One said it helped with the lag...and boy does it!

The Pedal Commander is a welcome addition to the Porsche Macan, a car with the beef to really get up to speed, crippled by a sad electronic throttle with a noticeable lag. The PC gets added to your throttle pedal assembly and essentially acts like a mini piggyback tune. It alters the car's response time to the electronic throttle input, and the delay (especially from a stop) is noticeably improved. This is the mod that makes the car really 'get up and go,' especially in traffic scenarios like needing to pull into oncoming traffic during unprotected turns, lane changes, defensive driving, etc.I can't imagine anyone using the Sport+ mode, even on a base Macan, but City and Sport (+2 on either) allow for a really fun time. Paired with something like the JB4 you can essentially get a base Macan to feel like an S without truly flashing your ECU or voiding your manufacturer's warranty.Installation was a breeze, the hardest thing is getting into a position in the footwell that allows you to see the recessed screw you must loosen to drop the gas pedal. Use the notches on the back of the pedal assembly to guide your way back up when re-installing the pedal and you'll have a much easier time lining up the screw holes. I saw a lot of people struggle with this in installation vids and it's easily avoidable if you take a look at the back of the pedal assembly and understand how the tabs will line up.

This works great for me. I just wanted to eliminate that initial lag.I use city mode -3 and that is sensitive enough for me.Good news is you can adjust it to your liking from your phone using Bluetooth.

The PDK transmission on the normal mode is very slow to respond and Pedal Commander will give you the ability to customize this responsiveness. It has an app as well which you can install it, hide it and change the settings right from your app. It is not detectable by the dealer’s computer and it does not void any warranty.

Immediately noticed the difference in throttle response! Can't comment on ease of install because had my mechanic do it for me.

There are no safety checks or features that prevent high revs while putting the car into reverse if you happen to be in sport mode, wheel bark everywhere, caused low voltage issues to dash and other components and is overpriced for what limited features and issues this product is designed to solve.

Alors là !! À commander sans hésitation !!Je ne m’attendais absolument pas du tout à ce résultat là !J’ai l’impression d’avoir changé de véhicule !!Beaucoup plus agressif ! Beaucoup plus de sensations !!La réponse a l’accélérateur est divisée par je ne sais combien, j’ai été surpris la première fois en mode sport plus !Un seul mot ! INCROYABLE !!

The Porsche Macan has been a top seller from Stuttgart since its launch. The v6 2.9L variant however has 'suffered' from an electronic throttle response lag (apart from the latest Gen 3 GTS in '22). The Pedal Commander is designed to reduce this lag and on the Macan Turbo this is certainly the case, within reason. Sport and Sport+ modes on the car don't really warrant the PC - the engine mapping, turbo spooling etc are suitably enhanced to deliver all the drama you need. In comfort mode things are very much more laid back and designed for economy fuel consumption. This is where the PC comes into its own. Pickup from a standing start is improved significantly whilst on the move response though not as noticeable as the first gear lift off does get a nice boost. The City +2 or +3 work very well on the PC settings and in reality you probably don't need the Sport and Sport Plus setting on the PC - just switch the mode of the car instead.If you want a driving experience in comfort mode where the throttle responds as you'd expect from this sports SUV then the PC is a must have. Note installation/removal on right hand drive cars is 10 mins (compared to LHD which is fiddly as seen online). Top tip - use some blu tack on the end of the torx 30 bit to hold the bolt removing/connecting the accelerator pedal and you can do it all by just kneeling outside the open driver's door and peering under the dash.

Appena arrivato e subito montato sulla mia Porsche Macan S Diesel del 2015.. funziona alla grande basta scegliere la modalità e prenderci un pó il piede e risponde come se avesse il pedale collegato direttamente al motore.. era ora di poterla guidare con piena soddisfazione. EcoMode per risparmiare carburante e le altre modalità davvero utili e precise quindi evitate di cambiare modalità mentre si guida. Ovviamente anche il gas della retromarcia viene elaborato quindi usare con molta attenzione non è un giocattolo. Top✨
