The use of aquarium backgrounds help to eliminate water stains from appearing on the back glass of your aquarium as well as hide your tubing and power cords so you have a neat, orderly looking aquarium.

I couldn't find a suitable background for the fish tank at local pet shops. This cam nicely packed. It looks good on tank.

Great aquarium backing but delivery should have been in a box not an envelope. The backing is rolled in a flimsy plastic container and it was shipped in an envelope. Not an issue unless it gets crushed as mine did leaving permanent lines across the backing. BUT Amazon quickly replaced the item at no cost and it arrived 2 days later. Thank you Amazon!

Excellent look and feel to this product. The only issue I'm having is that due to the background being rolled up in its packaging I have one edge that won't stay stuck down to the back of my aquarium. I'm using Marina Clear View to attach the background to the aquarium. I've been trying for a few days to get it to stick, but still no luck. If worse comes to worse I'll try to get some clear tape to stick to it.*******update: This thing is still curling up off my aquarium. The packaging from the manufacture needs to be larger so that the product doesn't become permanently rolled up. I was hoping it would've flattened out over time. So, one less star than when I originally reviewed the item.

It is what it is. Mine was delivered crushed and creased. I wasn’t really surprised considering how it was packaged and what it is. It’s for a ten gallon tank. Not a lot to see/notice at the back of the aquarium, especially with decorations and things in place… so I didn’t even bother with trying to proper apply it to the tank. When I say didn’t bother, I mean I really didn’t try to do a good job at all. I just used tape. Ignored the creasing. Still turned out and looks fine. Had this been for a much larger tank then my responses and actions would have been much different. I would have ended up returning it and buying something in store. Actually I probably would have never ordered an aquarium background online to begin with.

I bought this for my ten gallon aquarium with my happy betta fish in it. I had to trim it to fit but it was pretty easy. This background goes great together with my aquarium decorations and my gravel. I applied it so that the solid blue side is visible when looking at the aquarium. The only problem is that now its slowly falling off. :( But that's because of the adhesive that I bought to keep it on. You should still buy it if you like the design. Oh and by the way the blue on both sides is a nice royal blue. Its not too dark of a blue and it looks nice with proper lighting.

Both sides are absolutely beautiful but there are no instructions on how to properly apply to the fish tank. So...... thinking it must be a self stick background, I tried but to no avail. I guess I have to buy some type of adhesive.
