I use these for throwing on a pottery wheel. The size works great for holding in my hand and keeping the clay wet while I'm throwing. They last quite a bit before they start to fall apart. They came squished like other reviews pointed out, but mine went back to it's original state!

Is good for a synthetic sponge. Obviously, the natural ones are better but are expensive too.

It arrived with foam bits scattered all over and the rounded edges aren't smooth at all. The curve is feathered with foam particles sticking out in all directions. Not a clean cut at all.
