Purchased for a high school ceramics class. These are a great price for a large amount. Quality is equal to the price and perfect for when you need bulk sponges that aren't going to last forever/classroom setting. Very pleased.

These are mostly use-once and throwaway sponges. The price is right for that use however so I'm not really upset at their delicate quality. They are not very durable, but they do work well in arts and crafts. Any kind of rough use makes them tear though. You can try to clean them - and they do clean easy - but chances are the sponge will be too damaged by the time you're done using it. They're a good size for almost all arts and crafts. Do not expect to get perfectly round beautifully shaped sponges. They come in vacuum sealed bags and inflate into a usable shape after a few minutes, but require a couple days to puff out to full roundness. Almost all the misshapen lumpy photos in the reviews are from non-fully inflated sponges. They really do require a few days to round out into a circular shape. I would buy these again once I've gone through them all. I would however also purchase a high quality sponge for jobs that require a certain higher level of finesse. These would be absolutely perfect in a kindergarten classroom for example. For my application of smearing on dye on leather, they work amazing.

At first I was disappointed. When I opened the package I could not figure out what I had ordered. The sponges are in a small, tightly compressed bag. After opening and allowing them to “breath†the sponges spring back to life. Some of them are a little deformed but still very usable. I’ve used them for applying acrylic paint to paper, canvas, and wood panels. They work fine. I will also use them when throwing clay on a potter’s wheel. This was a very good purchase. -Happy Customer

These are not even close to uniform or round. There is discoloration and texture differences where they were cut or “shapedâ€. Will not be usable for the application I needed them for. They also have that chemical smell many items have. Will be returning. i’d you’re looking for something round with a good edge and uniformity- this isn’t for you.

My 100 sponges came vacuum sealed. I was worried that they would not bounce back into shape. But they did! Satisfied!
