Fit my de filter perfectly. Valve easy to install and works well. Easy to turn as long as you push down on the handle. Very happy with it as my old push pull type of valve needed constant work.

Love all of the new options I have with this multi-port valve has to offer! The old push/pull valve was a mess when back flushing the filters! This valve set up makes it a snap! Pentair has done another awesome job with their quality products!

i wanted to replace an old leaky valve with something larger and with less pressure loss, as i wanted to replace the existing single speed with a 2 speed.its a very substantial unit. feels good, feels like a quality molding, on the outside anyway.the valve action is very good. much better than the previous valve this unit is replacing.i REALLY appreciate the fact that pentair provides real pressure drop specs for various flow rates... helps me tremendously in picking the right product.all this being said, the product QA is seriously lacking...cons:there is a serious amount of pvc flash( excess material that extrudes out of poorly fitting or old injection mold tooling) this flash is on the INSIDE of the filter return. it blocks probably 20% of the pipes cross sectional area, and its on the inside heel of the pipe!this flashing material had i not noted it, would have caused much more turbulence than necessary... and we all know that turbulent flows in pipes almost universally yield higher dynamic losses at any velocity.this being said, it can be easily removed with anything from a soldering iron to a dremel tool to a round file... even a hot air gun and razor blade. still though its VERY annoying, and makes me question the inernal components quality as well. im seriously considering taking it apart to search for other issues.the same fitting also has what appears to be a shrinkage crack in the same general area... however probing said crack with a dental pick, i find it to be very shallow and superficial. it will be filled with pvc cement + THF.there were strings of excess pvc cement laying over the bottom of the valve body. the strings however were dried hard and easy to remove.the label seems to me... to be a fairly serious issue? im not expert on adhesives etc, but it seems to me to be of low quality? my old multiport label seemed to be some sort of adhesive backed metal foil with print on the top. it lasted well over 20 years with the print still being mostly legible.this label however... i fear will be gone or illegible in far less time.

Relatively easy to install, providing you have the right tools.

The part that I received was constructed just opposite. The top pipe should have been plumbed to the bottem and the bottem to the top on the sand filter but you would not know this until you install the valve and try to use it. The company has not contacted me to make this right no refund on purchase and or return shipping.
