I'll be selling my car shortly and will only accept cash. This will be my first private party car sale and while I am already a little nervous about it, this pen will give me a little extra peace of mind when the time comes and I can use this pen on the cash being offered to make sure it's authentic. When run across the surface of a real bill, it is barely visible but there is a tiny yellow tint where the pen has crossed. A black streak appears almost immediately when it run across anything else that isn't genuine currency. I may never use it again after my car is sold, but I'm glad I came across this product as it will help ease my fears of getting scammed.

A friend sold his truck, as stated, spent $5 dollars to insure that the cash sale of $11,000 dollars was legit, we all would like to trust everyone, but sadly in these days, you just can't. Get piece of mind with these pens, works as stated, light mark or real US currency, dark mark on paper. You can fan the money out and run the pen along the edge of the money, if any had been fake, it would have been easy to tell, fortunately, all was real, but even if one had been fake, the $5 dollars spent on the pen would have more that covered the loss.

I had a 100 dollar bill that the ATM would not take, for deposit, or the scanner at the grocery store. I was wondering if it was counterfeit. I bought this pen and used it, worked perfectly. My 100 bill was not counterfeit, I took it to the bank and it was deposited. The teller said it was an older bill, and most of the new machines cannot detect the old bills. So a little piece of mind.
