It's been a while since I worked on a car with a carburetor but after rebuilding one I need this tool to adjust the idle screws. Works as it should and I am glad I was able to get a hold of one.

Made idle speed fuel adjustments very easy for a difficult to reach needle valves at the base of the Rochester quadrajet. Paid for itself in the first use by reducing frustration and aggravation while trying to calibrate a very sensitive needle valve while the engine was operational.

As Is headline suggests item is bulky and overly big.Most carburetors require little effort to screw in and out the mixture screws.Hard to maneuver and navigate home the adjuster in small and tight engine spaces.Once home, was able to adjust boat Q-Jet carbs on a 40ft. boat correctly.

Just what I needed for adjusting the idle mix on my '87 truck with a Rochester Quadrajet. Has the weird double D bit needed for that carb. Almost no access to the idle screws on my truck without this tool!Deducted one star as the screwdriver head wasn't crimped on the spring shaft tight enough - the shaft was turning without tightening my idle speed screw. Gave it a quick nip with a pair of vice grips and it's locked solid now.

Works on 1986 Camaro IROC with a Rochester carb. Way easier to adjust the carb with the proper tool.
