I needed a single SAE woodruff key, which as a manufacturer’s part was $5. I had an 80 piece metric set I’d bought from Horrible Fright, which was close, but no cigar. This 80 piece SAE set filled out my collection for $15, and gave me 9 spares (which I’ll probably never use)

The tolerancing is pretty loose on these but they err on the larger size so just make sure to have some sand paper and caliper gauge for higher spec situations

I was repairing a snowblower it needed one Key. I was going to get 2 since I had another blower that was going to be repaired. Dealer wanted more for 2 keys than kit cost.

Purchased a few years ago and put on the shelf to have on hand. In need of one I just broke the seal today (labeled SAE) and thought they were sloppy tolerences. After reading the reviews here, I put the digital caliper on them and sure enough they're metric. Guess I should have read the reviews before ordering.
