How to measure?
>> Inside Mount
Measure your inside window width of top, center, bottom, and the minimum width is the width you need to choose, that is, blind width.
Measure your inside window height of left, center, right. As long as your maximum height is less than 72" , you can use the roller blinds.
Measure your window depth. At least 2.4" of depth is required to fit the roller blind into the window.
>> Outside Mount
Measure your outside window width of top, center, bottom, and the maximum width plus at least 4" is the width you need to choose, that is, blind width.
Measure your outside window height of left, center, right. As long as your maximum height plus at least 4" is less than 72" , you can consider to buy and use Persilux roller blinds.

I have a bay window in the eating area of my kitchen and it has a southern exposure. The windows are dual pane and while they don't allow huge amounts of summer heat to enter the house they allow more than they used to due to the rising temperatures here in the San Joaquin Valley. I decided to get a shade to help keep some of the heat at bay while still providing light to filter through. I spent a great deal of time looking at shades here on Amazon and had several in my cart when I came upon this one. It featured the transparency I wanted, came in a color I really liked, and it came in just the right size for my window frame. The vast majority of the reviews were 5 stars and frankly the price was really good so I took a chance and ordered it. I am a 70+ year old woman who has had back surgery and I installed it in less than 30 minutes. I am handy but I am still surprised that people had trouble with the installation. The only thing that gave me trouble was figuring out how to actually put the shade into the installed brackets by myself as it was more than 5 feet long. A tower of boxes set on the window sill allowed me to set the shade down after I put the chain pull end in place so that I could move the ladder in order to snap the remaining end in place. An extra pair of hands would have been helpful. This would not have been an issue with a shorter width. Once the shade was put into the brackets I cut the tapes holding the roll in place and used the chain to lower it. Then used the chain to raise it. I installed the bracket to hold the chain in place to keep my cats from playing with it.I installed this shade using the brackets in the ceiling mode as that was what worked for my window. I would suggest to anyone installing one of these shades to take the time to plan the installation before you pick up your drill. Know where the shade is going to go and that it is going to fit where you want to put it. Put the shade on the floor and put the ends and the brackets on and measure the assembled width. I was doing an inside the frame installation where the brackets were mounted to the upper "ceiling" corners of the wooden window frame so that is where I measured and I knew before I started that the shade would fit properly. And fit it did! While the instructions that come with the shade are not the best they are good enough to get the job done. They rely mostly on pictures.I think this shade is well made and I am really happy with it. The brackets are well made, have no sharp edges and the slots allow for very minor adjustments in order to get the distance between them just right. I would definitely buy more of them if needed for other windows.

Nice looking, easy installation, makes the room very cozy. These are reversible meaning that you can have the chain pull on the left or right hand side of the window opening. One of my three windows was trimmed a touch tighter than the other two and the shade would not operate properly. The first clue was that the retractable pin would not easily snap into the bracket, like the others, because the spacing was too tight. For this one window I removed the thin plastic covers that are attached to each bracket to gain an extra 1/8" of room which eliminated the need to modify the trim. The absence of the covers will never be noticed by anyone else.

Outstanding product. I've ordered two so far and both have fit perfect and no issues putting them up. They make everything easy and the operation of the product is smooth and precise. Just placed a order for a third and can't wait till it arrives. You may pay a bit more for this product, but well worth it.

High quality product that preforms as described. These 5% light filtering blinds are perfect for our lanai. The day sun is blocked, but allow outside visibility. Night time visibility from outside is mostly blocked. It would appear that these blinds will have long term durabilityThe only problem encountered was the poor installation instructions.

These have to be the worst installation instructions I have ever seen. The screen looks good but I’m very disappointed at the instructions.

These blinds truly exceeded all expectations! Not only are they extremely well made, but they are also so elegant - adding a huge touch of class to my living room. What I love the most about them is that they REALLY block the glare of the sun yet I can see right through them. I had tried samples from other vendors (not on Amazon; i.e., professional window treatment installers) and their blinds did nothing for the sun's glare. As I live in Arizona and in a house with many, many windows, I really needed help in keeping the sun from blinding me during sunrise and sundown. All other blinds fell so short, but these blinds are PERFECT!!! They block the glare so much that I can stare straight into the sun for minutes at a time without even squinting - amazing!!!!A quick note on the seller...There was a little hiccup with the delivery of one of the blinds (I ordered 9 total) and the seller did not hesitate to remake the blind and have it sent to my house. They not only solved the hiccup, but they also kept me informed every step of the way. I would buy from them again and again and again. They truly are as good as their products - meaning, they are OUTSTANDING!If you are serious about getting your home the best blinds money can buy, please consider these. You will not be disappointed!!!

The shade is completely perfect especially for the price. It does allow good light but it keeps me from being blinded while at my workbench in the afternoon. I didn't want something completely solid because I do like my window. It's like sunglasses for your room. The quality is good, it was easy to hang, and I like the chain cord. Couldn't be happier!

Purchased this for our sliding glass door. We had vertical before. So glad we switched! These work great and look really nice. They let just enough light thru when we close them. I wish I had them on all my windows!

Me sorprendió mucho el efecto que tiene de poder ver hacia afuera, pero que no se vea lo que hay dentro, asà que cumple bastante bien con mantener tu privacidad durante el dÃa. El producto es muy bueno, sin duda te lo recomiendo, además de que los materiales se sienten de bastante calidad, por ejemplo los tirantes metálicos (no estoy seguro que se llamen asÃ), o cadenita.Ahora puedo tener la persiana blackout abierta todo el dÃa, y eso me encanta.Lo que no me encantó fue el tiempo que tardaron en enviar el producto. No sé si es problema de Amazon con los productos gringos, o si son los vendedores, ya que tardaron unas 3 semanas en enviarlo, y de la fecha de envÃo hasta la entrega fue rapidÃsimo, menos de 5 dÃas.En fin, si quieres privacidad, y poder ver lo que pasa fuera, esta es tu opción. No dudes en comprarla.
