I installed this in my 1933 Chevy 1 1/2 Ton Fire Truck. It works well and was easy to install. I did have to adjust the timing after.

Easy to install. Nothing to adjust. Removed my points and condenser, installed the Pertronics, dumped gas in the carburetor and turned the key. 1954 Chevy fired right up after sitting for three years.

Installed easier than points and with what points and condensers are now costing will pay for itself over time with no maintenance. I also purchased an Amazon return for a discounted price and the item was new and as described.

I installed this on a 1950 GMC 250 1 ton with a 228 six cylinder engine. It's incredibly easy to install, and for this kit, does NOT need the magnetic sleeve that goes on the distributor cam below the rotor. The only thing I had to do after installing this kit, is re-time the engine with a timing light.

This little thing is awesome. I was hesitant to buy it but for the money it was so worth it. Ive been trying to get my 1950 216 to start and run for 3 years now to no avail. Had the head redone and thought i screwed something up. I put this on with the flamethrower coil and it started up better than my 2013. unbelievable.

I installed this item on a 1929 Mclaughlin Buick with superb results. I have past experience with breaker point ignition systems on motorcycles and how much of pain they can be. Also with replacing them an electronic ignition and eliminating so many problems when a bike might not start. So I thought well what about this car? It couldn't have ended better. The existing breaker points produced a very weak spark barely noticable. This new Pertronix unit was simple to install and produces remarkably strong spark with the same ignition coil! Starting now is very easy!!
