Easy installation. This is the third vehicle I have installed one of these kits. They are inexpensive but reliable.

Super easy to put into my 67 Camaro with the old Delco distributor. Hides right up in there and keeps that stock look, and my car has never fired up so fast!

probably the best, and cheap, upgrade you can do to an old car. been using about 4 months without issue. just took a couple hours to install. fast engine startup. eliminated the problems of rough running and inconsistent points distributor. install this and you know your ignition is squared away, then just deal with your fuel or whatever other problems may be. it just needs to be installed carefully with the small sensor and magnet ring gap set accordingly. you must use the included gear bushings to get the right gap, its not that hard to do. i dont give it five stars though bc it doesnt have the key on protection of the 2 & 3 models, so it could burnout if the key is left on, which is just stupid. honestly there should only be the 2nd and 3rd models of this thing if thats the case, since the 2nd claims all the other minimum improvements you'd want. then the third claiming more energy and a rev limiter. this level 1 model just eliminates the variance and wear of points and gives smooth idle. there was no gas mileage improvement on a stock 4bbl '67 327 getting 12mpg. installed their flamethrower coil too. just note that it is a bit bigger diameter and didnt fit in the stock coil holder without a longer clamp screw. if i had a little more $ to spend, i would just buy a new distributor with the level 3 module or equivalent, and eliminate the slop in timing from the old distributor and gears as well.

East to install with you tube video. Written instructions too detailed and complicated.

This part was clearly used. Wire ends have been twisted to other wires. Box damaged

I have used Pertronix igniters in the past. Works way better than original points on my 1964 GTO.

Done with points / dwell setting / condenser. Seems to give more spark and retains stock appearance

Always run Pertronix in all my vintage vehicles! Chuck the points !Just don’t leave ignition on when not runningWill burn it out . These work great , install , wire up , no more F ing around setting points and dwell . Set timing to pull most vacuum in all carb set up vintage motors . Great .

Installed on my 67 impala with a 283. According to the instructions, the notch on the tone wheel is to line up to the square on the advance mechanism for "odd firing orders". If your firing order is 18436572, line the notch to the square and you'll be tip top

After sitting for over a decade, the stock points and condenser didn’t have it in them to create a reliable spark. I decided to upgrade to electronic and don’t plan on looking back. After getting everything installed, the old girl was making vroom vroom noises after the first crank.
