It fit right in my 1976 Alfa Romeo Spider's Marelli S103BA distributor easily (distributor REMOVED from the car). After re-timing, the car is running better than ever!! APPLICATION NOTE: I don't actually fire the coil with the MR-LS1 directly. Instead, the MR-LS1 serves as a magnetic pick-up for my PerTronix Digital HP box, which fires the coil, governs over rev situations, provides a tachometer feed and diagnostics (as well as multispark).

what can I say. These things work. adjusting points is a pain. Make sure your coil is matched. The old one is likely the wrong ohms since it was for points and condensor.

Bought this for my fiat. Its been sitting for about 30 years in a garage. Needed to replace all the ignition components. Decided to go with this simple solution. Fired right up. Install was easy. Directions were clear and YT has a few videos on the subject to clear up any murky points.

Have had problems with it and Pertronix thinks it needs to be returned to them for testing. Never had problems with one of these before but this one maybe faulty. I've bought many and resold them for years.

Package was damaged when I got it and it is way too complicated for me to install it.

Its pretty straight forward to install. Remove distributor cap, remove points and condensor - then you have to figure out where to put the base, but there aren't many options. This MR-LS1 fit my Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0L just fine. I have the Marelli 103ba distributor. The 103b requires a different MR-model #, I believe.I look forward to getting my electronic ignition's worth!

It works great in my 1974 Alfa Romeo Giulia that I use for Vintage Racing Purposes.Following the instalation instructions and watching the videos available in You Tubeis really easy to install the Pertronix.
