It is better for my cat than the dog. The picture makes it look so much bigger. But it is great and the cover comes off so you can wash it.

Cats have lived on this since I got it. Not very thick but nicely soft, highest heat level is not too hot. Feline approved!Human slave reservation: why the six-hour limit on heat? That's just dumb for a pad used by animals. They get cold 24 hours a day.

Well, it does heat up but not the degree I was hoping. It’s fine but if you put a blanket over it the heat barely gets through . Must use on its own which it is a little stiff. Still going to keep it

The cover of the heating pad doesn't stay ob the heat pad. The pad gets all scrunched up in a ball every nite my dog sleeps on it. It takes a bit to get it to go back to a square. For there's no way to open it. Would be better made if it was fixed to the cover all the way around so it doesn't get all balled up. Thnx

We bought this for our old, indoor kitty to keep warm during the cold weather (drafty, cold air seeping in via windows and door) and she loves it. Usually she is scared of anything new (she’s a rescue with issues) but immediately took to it and seemed to instinctively know it was safe. It also appears to feel good on her arthritis as well as keeping her warm. We put a folded towel under it and placed it on the floor right in front of our couch where she can see us. She will go get on it and look at us like, Fire it up! We start on the highest level 9, then about five minutes in, turn it to 5. That seems her favorite heat level. Highly recommend for any pet, but it hit it out of the park for a senior, arthritic cat.

This heating pad has a thick, plush cover. I got it for my dogs, but I decided to use it myself to ease a back sprain and it was so darned comfortable I kept it! Sorry (fur) kids. It really is very luxe for the price.
