i had ordered another scanner that claimed it scanned livestock. it did not & was returned. this one works great! i tested on several horses as well as chips yet to be implanted. since i am not interested in the optional free software that comes with this product and keeps a record of all chip serial numbers i opted to take a picture of scanner code display in order to record on registration papers & add to my records.

The scanner arrived charged and ready to use. I quickly (under a second) detected the chip and accurately read the number. Screen was easy to read.The device is ergonomic and simple. I highly recommend it.

I do cat rescue for an organization, and finally decided to get my microchip scanner to keep at home. I’m so glad I did, because a neighbor called me about a friendly cat who has recently showed up, and was concerned he was abandoned. I scanned him, located his chip number, and reached out to the company to find his family. They wouldn’t share his family’s info, but could tell me his name, which was a start. The pic above and his name ended up being all I needed, because several lost and found groups later, and “Hank†was shared 100 times, and his family was found in less than a day! I actually like this reader better than the one we have at the cafe, it’s smaller and more convenient, and you don’t have to hold the button in to scan, just press it once. Great product, and affordable enough for everyone to have one!

Read all my pets chips correctly & quickly. Just need to find a carrying case for it so I can throw it in my purse.
