I bought it after I got my Doberman. I was told she had a chip but they weren’t sure. When I got this I scanned her and it picked it up right away. Easy to use, works great, good value, small enough to carry in a bag or purse.

This scanner works great! I wasn't sure because of the price, compared to others. It scanned my dogs chip in a second!!!

Mine just arrived tonight. It surprisingly came charged! So I was able to test it out right away. I tried it on my cat and it worked! The code it showed matched the records I have for my cat’s microchip. Now I’ll be able to easily test any strays that I encounter for microchips.

I'm hoping for some product support here, and I don't see another way to request it. The reader I received will not read at all. I have tried 4 cats that I know have been chipped in the past few years and get no read at all. Nothing, zip, zilch, nada. It may be defective and I'd really like a replacement but am outside of the return window. Hopefully the vendor can help me. Thanks.

Bought this to check the feral/stray cats that are roaming around my neighborhood. Tested it out on my own cats and it worked right away! All you do is turn it on and place it above the neck area of the cat. The chip # appears on the little screen. Very easy!
