As a casual DIYer, this paint edger has been an amazing addition to my toolkit. It’s so simple to use – just apply the paint and slide it for a clean, straight-edge finish without the hassle of a roller or worrying about hitting the ceiling or trim. This tool makes touch-ups a breeze and helps you achieve a much more professional look around edges. It glides smoothly, and the fact that it comes with two replacement pads is a nice bonus. It does take a bit of practice to get in the groove, but once you get the hang of applying the right amount of paint, it feels natural pretty quickly. Highly recommend for anyone wanting crisp lines and an easier painting process!

Have a room to paint and this is great for cutting in! I did dip it too deep once, and ended up with paint everywhere, but that's operator error! I found that just getting the ends of the bristles in the paint and gently rocking will load it up pretty well. Then just do a light wipe of the bottom and top edge so you don't drip and so you don't end up with squeeze out paint on the ceiling. They are washable, so can be reused several times. If you're painting, go for it!

no matter how carefull i am. it does not keep that line. as you can see i the picture. paint everwhere. not satisfied at all. will not recommend this product.

Good materials, design , construction. I actually bought new name brand edger last year but I didn't notice that the handle does not allow you to flip it over to get closer to a textured ceiling. Textured ceilings don't allow a smooth paint line when the little edger wheels bounce over the thousands of bumps. This new 21st Century paint edger solves that problem since the handle can rotate out of the way and I can use it at the top of the wall flush against the ceiling (with the little wheels out of the way) which allows good paint coverage in a straighter line against a textured ceiling.

I'm in the process of painting a few rooms in my condo, and these brushes are (IMO) required tools if you want crisp, straight lines where the ceiling meets the wall. Using a "regular" brush, you're bound to make mistakes. The extra two painting pads might be enough for me to do several rooms.
