This backpack has been one of the best things I've purchased for my puppy.We use it all the time for walks. She was so comfortable in it that we used it as a "crate" for her to sleep in the first week we had her (she was 2 lbs, we have a proper crate now). We also use it in the car as a "crate," by bucking the seatbelt through the backpack straps. The pockets are so useful and the materials are very sturdy. The bottom is completely solid, which supports her nicely, and the mesh sides allow for airflow and the ability for her to see her surroundings. Bonus - all of the zippers have buckles that keep the zippers securely closed.I have just two tiny complaints...1) There is a strap with a lobster clasp on the inside of the backpack. It's meant to connect to the dog's collar to keep the dog secure in the backpack if you unzip the top and allow the dog to stick its head out. My dog chews on this relentlessly. I don't want to cut it out of the backpack, so I move it out of the backpack and zip the zippersaround it.2) There is a velcro strap on the inside of the backpack. If you decide to unzip the top of the back pack to allow the dog to stick its head out, you can roll the mesh down and secure it with the velcro strap. Again, my dog chews on this relentlessly. There is nothing I can do to stop her other than to cut it off...These are minor design issues. I still think this product deserves 5 stars. We love it.

This was perfect for our reactive little 10 lb terrier. He goes crazy when he sees another dog when we are hiking or in a crowded places. When we put him in the pack, he is calm and quiet. When the trail opens up we can let him down to walk on leash again. It’s been a real problem solver for us. He has plenty of room and can lay down when he’s tired. It has also made it possible to take him inside many places because he is completely contained. (We always ask of course). The quality seems good and it has been comfortable for my older husband to wear and carry him.

We needed a larger pet backpack to take our large cats to the vet. This one is perfect. When my SIL says "Any kittiies want a car ride?" Maggie is the first one there. It's large enough to accommodate our 20 lb cats (one at a time of course) with room to spare. It's lightweight and easy to carry but well built and strong.

The details on this backpack are awesome! The zippers all clip together for security and there is a built in hole in the pocket for waste bags. The number of ways this bag can be opened to get your pet in or out is more than I could have asked for. The bag construction and straps are sturdy. Our cat loves this bag and jumps in as soon as we bring it out for adventures because it is very roomy.

I purchased three different carriers to be able to compare them all at the same time. PETAMI backpack looked much bigger right out of the box. I set all three next to each other and it was at least 2 inches taller and wider. I put my dog in each one (I'll list the other two later) to see how she fit. She is a doxie mix but has the longer legs so she's taller .I wanter the backpack so she could be in a sitting position while riding in it and at the airport. I called the airlines to make sure it was TSA approved and told them it was a couple of inches outside their guidelines. they told me since it is a soft carrier it could compress down to fit so it was fine. I always select the window seat when I fly with my pet because they allow me to sit the carrier under the window and not have to shove it under the seat after take off so this allows her to either have it in a sitting position or lay it down and have plently of room to stretch out. It has a waist strap and chest strap which really makes the pack very secure while walking. the other two packs are the COVONO Pet Carrier which was nice but heavy and more solid so it wouldn't compress at all to fit under the seat. it would be good for outside use but it was a little tighter fitting for my dog and it had hard windows instead of mesh so my dog panicked a little. the LEKEBOBOR Dog Carrier was the pulling one and since my dog doesn't care for the carrier in the first place she didn't sit very still and pulling her all over the house she was moving around so much it became unstable. it was much shorter and I had to unzip the top so she could pop her head out. I didn't feel I could get the rolling part off and stowed away on the plane very quickly and I knew I would hold up the line so that one was out.

Such a game changer!It's big enough for my 5.170 kg cat to sit and lay in comfortably. It's very easy to adjust, and the weight is very well divided thanks to the hip and chest bands.I put it on front on the way to the vet, in order to make sure that the cat can't escape it. It's less comfortable this way, but still way better than carrying the regular plastic carrier. On the way back I put it on my back, it was super comfortable!

Due to my health issues it's easy to take my dog in this she's comfortable she gets to see everything sturdy well built

My husband and I have been struggling to find the perfect backpack for our 12-year-old Chihuahua that we adopted a year ago. We both love going on long walks and hikes but our pup has always been an indoor dog and is unable to keep up with us. We have tried many other backpacks as well as slings but none of them have allowed our dog to relax as much as this carrier has. We love the security that this backpack has as well as all of the mesh Windows that You can zip up or down. This backpack has a solid base to allow our pup to sit or lay down comfortably as well as large pockets to carry his water treats, poop bags and his own personal fan to keep him cool this summer.Our dog absolutely loved this trip and was so relaxed during the entire hike. Definitely recommend.

Very large, looks great..extremely happy.Edit. I just purchased another one - black this time. I can't leave a separate review. I gave my other one to my dad for his new puppy. Fact is.. I have brought a few backpacks from this brand and all are very high quality. I own smaller ones and wanted a larger one for my pup. The brand is a little costly buy definitely worth it. Other brands I have brought have always broken. These bags are strong and without a doubt the best on the market. These large ones are great. So much space, more than enough mesh windows and a extremely large side pocket for phones, wallets and more. Only complaint would be the leash part. Its in the wrong place, clasp is rather small and if your dogs harness has a thick ring like mine it's a struggle to unclip it and I would have liked the leash to be a little longer. That being said, I will never use another brand. Best one you can hope to buy.
